Akaela Caquelin (Newburg): It was my first time seeing this young point guard and she was very impressive with her overall poise and savvy to go along with her offensive skill. She got my attention when she dribbled upcourt and hit a pull up 3-pointer. Her handles were smooth and she was very good at setting up teammates for open looks. When she saw an open lane to the basket, she didn't hesitate to take it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1160543' first='Tia' last='Nance'] (St. Joe Lafayette): I was very impressed with the young point guard who displayed excellent speed and quickness at both ends of the floor. She distributed the ball well and she could get a bucket with a pull up jumper or on a penetrating drive. She also had some quick hands on defense to pick pockets.

[player_tooltip player_id='375675' first='Tayla' last='Robinson'] (Battle): The 5'5" point guard is quick and she plays the game with a pass-first mentality. She advances the ball well with the pass or with the dribble and will find the open teammate. She is also a capable scorer when she needs to get a bucket as she can pass it or hit the perimeter shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='199287' first='Nautica' last='Washington'] (Battle): The 5'9" combo guard is equally comfortable with the ball in her hands as a facilitator or off the ball as an offensive threat. She's very smooth on the drive to the basket and she can knock down the 3-pointer off the catch. She also puts in a strong effort on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='303291' first='Kierstyn' last='Lawson'] (California): A 5'4" point guard who plays the game with a lot of pace and she has the ability to score. She has a very nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. She also dropped some nice dimes to open teammates as she can deliver passes with a lot of zip.

[player_tooltip player_id='383244' first='Camryn' last='Caldwell'] (Owensville): The 5'5" point guard is an excellent shooter with 3-point range who moves well without the ball and displays very good form on her shot. She is a solid ball handler and passer who makes good decisions on the court.
