Audriana Wright Audriana Wright 5'10" | SF Sandia | 2025 State NM “Sandia” SF: Sophomore Audriana Wright Audriana Wright 5'10" | SF Sandia | 2025 State NM had a busy off-season throughout the summer and looks poised to pick up where she left off last season. She was a player I saw in the gym constantly throughout the summer and has added a lot to her game. I’m excited too see that translate into her sophomore season this year.
Emma Christiano Emma Christiano 5'4" | PG Las Cruces | 2023 State NM “Las Cruces” PG: The Bulldawgs Star Point Guard Emma Christiano Emma Christiano 5'4" | PG Las Cruces | 2023 State NM had an unbelievable season last year as a junior. She led her squad to a district title last season and to the 5A State Quarterfinals. After having a breakout year last season, I expect her to raise up her game again this year. Her and the Bulldawgs have some unfinished business to settle this year.
Caitlin Turnbow Caitlin Turnbow 5'10" | PF Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM “Organ Mountain” Center: The Organ Mountain Knight lost their leading scorer; Harmanie Dominguez to graduation this past spring. The reason for that important detail is because Caitlin Turnbow Caitlin Turnbow 5'10" | PF Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM will become the main focal point on the offensive end of the floor this year. She was already the teams second leading scorer and will see her production increase with more opportunities this year. Becoming the number one option should be realistic expectations for her this year leading the Knights.
Aspen Salazar Aspen Salazar 5'9" | SF Centennial | 2023 State NM “Centennial” SF: The Centennial Star will be returning for one more year as a senior this year after a special junior and sophomore year the past two seasons. She has averaged about 16 points per game over the two previous seasons while playing winning basketball. Aspen has helped Centennial reach the 5A State Tournament the last few years and hopes to win her first State Championship this year while receiving additional offers from colleges.
Olivia Montano Olivia Montano 5'4" | CG Sandia | 2024 State NM “West Mesa” PG: I believe West Mesa’s junior Point Guard Olivia Montano Olivia Montano 5'4" | CG Sandia | 2024 State NM is set to have a breakout campaign for the Mustangs this season. She averaged about 10 points per game as a sophomore last season while the teams leading scorer Aset Drane graduated this past spring. Olivia is a scoring first Point Guard that has the basketball in her hands a lot and makes the right plays and decisions. After a productive off-season working on her game, expect Olivia Montano Olivia Montano 5'4" | CG Sandia | 2024 State NM to make some noise this year.
