Coming in with a lot of hype, these girls are ready to stake their claim and build upon their legacy of having a great high school career. This class is a fun bunch of kids coming in with a lot of swagger and confidence, looking to help propel their prospective high school club.
Within this class, there are some gems. Girls who may not be at the top of the class, but should be mentioned as some of the ones who will contribute right away for their schools. Hidden within this class are some girls you’ve got to keep your eyes on here.
Here are just a few under the radar girls from the 2026 class.
Lilly Espelet Lilly Espelet 6'0" | SF Page | 2026 State TN (5’11/SF/Page)– Big body wing who is solid with the ball in her hands. Multi-level scoring threat that can dice you up from inside and out. Similar to a Diana Taurasi, this young hooper can find the bottom of the nets. Look for her to turn into an absolute dawg as she continues to get into the lab.
Michelle Shields Michelle Shields 5'10" | PG Elizabethon | 2026 State TN (5’10/PG/ Elizabethon)– long-winged scoring threat that has incredible court vision. Pushes the ball great in transition. Poise. Has a nice stroke she unleashed from the mid-range or behind the arc. Can play with the ball in her hands or without, either way she is a difference maker on the offensive end, being clutch by making shots or getting easy look for her teammates.
Jonna Moses Jonna Moses 5'6" | CG Tellico Plains | 2026 State TN (5’5/CG/ Tellico Plains)– Don’t let the small stature fool you. This girl is super-tough. She’s an old school player who is going to compete and go right after you. Can knock it down from deep consistently, put on the floor and get to the rim. She’s gonna get after your best player on the defensive end. Tough nosed kid who is a gamer.
Kayte Madison Bjornstad Kayte Madison Bjornstad 6'1" | C Franklin Road Christian School | 2026 State TN (6’1/C/Franklin Christian Road School)– Hard working kid who is phenomenal around the rim. Has a great touch in the painted area. Possess great footwork around the blocks, has a nice mid-range j, and is great in pick and roll action. On the defensive end, she’s the anchor, clogging up the lane and collecting boards.

(5’10/ CG/ Memphis Business School)– Raw, long winged guard who can score the rock at will. Uses her length to create turnovers on the defensive end. Takes pride in locking down the other team’s best player. High basketball IQ, will continue to get better, as she gets in the lab. Special athlete who enjoys making opponents endure 32 minutes of chaos every time she steps on the floor.
