Steele remains at the top of the rankings but any number of players could be up here and few would complain because the class is so loaded. Shaelyn is a tough lead guard who is an excellent finisher and has a high IQ. A true two way player, Shaelyn is quick and plays extremely hard.
Rowe moves up one spot to #2 and could be on her way to reclaiming the top spot for the class. Trinity has the ability to take over a game with her scoring but is a high level passer as well. With her high basketball IQ, Rowe understands when to lay back and when to be aggressive. There’s a reason she has almost 20 D1 offers. She’s a special player.
Biggs faced a setback this summer after a knee injury but she’s on her way back and should play this season. Audrey is a versatile scorer who can get buckets at any level. She’s racked up a ton of D1 offers already and should see more once she gets back to 100%.
Ramiya has the most long term upside in the class because of her unique size. You just don’t see many 6’4+ young women walking around. White continues to get more athletic as her game evolves and she has the most impressive offer list so far as she holds multiple high major D1 offers thanks to her high potential.
Mariah is a matchup problem for opposing defenders because of her ability to score from the perimeter, off the bounce or on the block. Knight, like White, continues to improve her overall skill level and that will only take her to new heights as a prospect thanks to her size.
Bender is a glue gal for the loaded Sacred Heart team and is a big time prospect in her own right. With her ability to score all over the floor and how hard she plays, Reagan does all the things her team needs to get wins. She also holds several D1 offers because of how much she contributes to winning.
Our Alyx White thinks Angelina could be the best big in Louisville this season with the way her game is evolving. Pelayo knows how to use her size to create space and score on offense and she protects the rim on defense. Look for her to be among the best “bigs” in Kentucky this season.
Highlights
Eubank is a lot like Bender in the way that she impacts winning for her team. Ryle has their sights set on getting back to Rupp Arena and Quinn will be one of the reasons they’re among the favorites to win the 9th and make a push at the state title. A true two way player, Eubank is an excellent rebounder and efficient scorer.
One of the biggest X factors in the state, Sarah could help get Ryle all the way to a state title this year if she starts to reach her potential as a player. Baker can score the ball at the rim and can knock down open threes. If she continues to improve at taking contact and finishing, Sarah should be a double double every night this season.
