She is a very good leader on the court and has very active hands on both ends of the court. She sees the floor, and gets her teammates involved. Very talented kids with lots of skills. [player_tooltip player_id='93548' first='Morgan' last='Hunt'] is a hard nosed player who can take you to the rim and finish through contact. Hunt is not afraid to shoot the ball. She had a nice pull up mid range jumper. Great team player on and off the floor, she has a high IQ for the game. Torie Richards is a 5-7 2024 who averaged nearly double figures last season, and will be a big part of the success of the Patriots this season.</p>

<p><strong>Preble Shawnee</strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='270602' first='Olivia' last='Thompson'] is a 5-7 2023 who scored 15 points per game last season. She is a very fierce competitor who can get to the rim and play through contact. Also can score from the perimeter making her a complete threat. [player_tooltip player_id='270523' first='Campbell' last='Jewell'] is a 5-7 2023 headed to the University of Michigan to play soccer. She is an elite athlete, able to use her quickness to her advantage. Can slash and plays with high intensity with a high motor. Also capable of scoring from the perimeter. Great on-ball defender. Harlee Howard is a 5-8 2023 and will be a big factor this season like she was last year when she scored nearly 10 points per game. Also keep an eye on strong 6-1 post 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='218277' first='Kahlen' last='Kulms'] and 5-6 2024 Korrie Woodard.</p></p>

<p>A good group of underclassmen combined with an experienced senior will give them a chance to win this season. Rilee Terry is a very strong rebounder, 6-0 2023 who is solid around the rim. 5-4 2025 Nani Garcia is improved, Jim and I saw her over the fall and she impressed both of us. Keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id='537682' first='Isabella' last='Cherry'], a 5-4 2026 smart guard who has a good IQ.</p></p>

<p>One of the most underrated guards in the area is 5-7 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='369041' first='Taylee' last='Woodbury']. She is a smart player who controls the game with the ball in her hands. Very quick hands and feet. Good perimeter game, smooth guard with handles and court sense. Another rising player is 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='849205' first='Syenna' last='Purdin']. Some good talent coming up at MV, will be fun to watch this team continue to grow.</p></p>

<p>Time will tell how well the newcomers and younger players step up for the Greyhounds, but they are led by one of the top players in the area, 5-10 2024 Sierra Brinson. She put up some bigtime numbers last season with 20 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. She also dished out nearly 3 assists per game.</p></p>
