Thomas (cover photo) was impressive in the transition game and scored most of her points on the fast break. She also had some nice moves in the paint, showing some very good footwork. Thomas’s versatility is what separates her from most guards. She has the ability to post up and play with her back to the basket.

Sheals is a SPECIAL talent and one of the best power forwards in the state of Florida. Sheals cleaned up on the offense and defensive rebound and she wasn’t playing against an average player She was mixing it up all game long with

, one of the top players in the 2023 class. Sheals also can put the ball in the basket and her timely backdoor cuts were a sign of a very high basketball IQ. Sheals scored well in transition and was also a scoring force in the paint.

Kemp is one smooth player and played with great composure against Mandarin. She can get to the rim and finish. She did a good job of running the offense and showed that she can distribute the ball to teammates as well as score the ball. Kemp played well on defense and did a good job of stopping drives. She is a good on-ball defender and also plays well in the passing lanes.

Gavazzi has done it time and time again and has solidified herself as one of the best 2024s on the First Coast and in the State. In an overtime affair, the sharp-shooting Gavazzi knocked down 18 points, including 3 three-pointers. Gavazzi does a good job of handling the ball and running the offense. She can get to the rim, draw fouls and get to the line.

Richards played well and showed some versatility, knocking down a three and getting to the free throw line in Ponte Vedra’s overtime win. Richards is a versatile player who can defend positions 1 through 3. She is a very fast player who can run the floor and score in transition. She brings a lot of energy to the court.
