Dynamic Duos in NM: Class 4A Continued!

Additional pairs of teammates from the 4A class, that are slated to put together impressive campaigns for the 2022-23 season or have already solidified themselves.   This is the third overall segment of the "Dynamic Duos" column. * See bottom of page for links to first two articles *   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   Bernalillo HS - Bernalillo, NM   Duo of O'Hara & Valdez    First up, a pair of returning teammates that were key pieces on a Bernalillo team that finished 2nd in the 4A State Tournament in 21-22. [player_tooltip player_id='353912' first='Gabby' last='O'Hara'] & [player_tooltip player_id='391242' first='Leah' last='Valdez'] - They each scored 330+ points this past season and will have to do so once more in 22-23, in order to get back to the playoffs. All three have now graduated, clearing the way for the Bengals' next tandem. Now Senior, [player_tooltip player_id='458571' first='Daliyah' last='Morris'] & Sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='467051' first='Rylie' last='Whitehair']. Together they will run the 4 and 5 positions and it should be intriguing to watch unfold as their style of play differs from one another. Morris is an athletic wing with a very quick first step, who plays much bigger than she is. [player_tooltip player_id='467051' first='Rylie' last='Whitehair'], is a 6'1” Center that has excellent footwork and touch.     <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   Valencia HS - Los Lunas, NM   Duo of Malizia & Montoya    [player_tooltip player_id='357652' first='Azalia' last='Malizia'] & [player_tooltip player_id='391108' first='Jadyn' last='Montoya'] are arguably one of the best starting back courts in the State of New Mexico, and it should remain that way for a two year period (this year and next). Interchangeable players that are both quick and competitive.
