[player_tooltip player_id='247134' first='Janessa' last='Williams'] PF 2023 5'8" Kings Academy/FGB

Williams has my vote for the MVP of the event. She was all over the place, playing with a high level of energy, getting rebounds, running the point, getting to the basket, and dishing out assists. I was very impressed with her overall game. She was controlling the offense, running the point position at times. Williams was very aggressive to take the ball to the cup, finishing very strong.

Krystin Wolff PF 2023 6'2" Bloomingdale/Tampa Thunder

Player of the game for the last game of the event. She was running the floor in transition, getting easy buckets, finishing with both hands, on either side of the basket. A very vocal player that showed a lot of grit, while having nice touch around the basket. Throughout the event she stepped out past the 3 point line, to hit the shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='416320' first='Katie' last='Drozd'] PF 2024 6'0" Hastings on Hudson(NY)

In the first game of the event she hit 8 three pointers. A tough post player that can rebound very well, battling the opposing post player for position. A lights out shooter that can finish close to the basket. She was player of the game for the first game of the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='449362' first='Alana' last='Francis'] C 2023 6'2" Father Lopez/BlueStarOrando

Francis has nice touch around the basket, and is a tough match up for the opposing player. She has good foot work that allows her to get into the right position before she receives the ball and after. Able to knock down the mid-range jumpers. Look forward to watching her play for Father Lopez for her upcoming Senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='516186' first='Makayla' last='Stokes'] PF 2024 6'0" DME

Another kid that caught my eye in the Forward position. She ran the floor like a gazelle, getting buckets in transition. She was attacking the basket in the half court, finishing with a variety of moves and finishes. She was steeping out to hit the mid-range jumper. Stokes was also a force on the defensive side of the floor, blocking shots and getting deflections.

Skye McCloud PF 2023 5'10" Brooks Debartlo/Tampa Thunder

McCloud is super athletic. I was very impressed with her athleticism, she was chasing players down, getting back tips, blocks and deflections. On the offensive side of the ball, she was taking the ball to the basket very strong and confident, getting fouls and getting to the free throw line. A little short for a post, but has the heart and tenacity to play any position.
