Kennedy Simpson Kennedy Simpson 5'6" | CG Summer Creek | 2026 State TX -5’8 CG (Summer Creek)
Simpson’s name and game preceded her as her club coach gave me an honest assessment before they played on the PGH Circuit last season. She impressed me so much that she was a lock for the 2026 Watch List yet watching her come in and start for one of the state’s top teams speaks volumes. The jumper, the scoring off the dribble, the defense as well as rebounding, wait, and court vision …
Madison Carlton Madison Carlton 6'2" | PF Seven Lakes | 2026 State TX -6’2 F/C (Seven Lakes)
Carlton is “long and athletic” and always remember that is the base. Her finishes are even stronger than last week and she’s showing signs of controlling the paint, the support from her sister and teammate Justice Carlton Justice Carlton 6'1" | PF Seven Lakes | 2024 State TX , #1 Texas 2024, is really going to help ignite her progression yet she also plays the passing lane and handled the ball in the open court afterward. She goes after the ball off the rim, I love that and blocked some sots
Cora Bennett Cora Bennett 6'1" | C Judson | 2026 State TX -6’1 C/F (Converse Judson)
Bennett is “long and athletic” see above yet watching her blossom on the court will have many coming out of the woodwork saying what they can do for her, trust me, I know how this works. She also has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots. The short jumper, as well as putbacks, look nice but I’ll catch her and her freshman teammate below Tuesday and Wednesday
Delaney Arredondo Delaney Arredondo 5'6" | PG Judson | 2026 State TX -5’4 PG (Converse Judson)
Arredondo got the #D1Lock dropped on her by me 3 years ago, one more time, #ThereIsNoMe yet there aren’t many of her as her poise under pressure stood out from day 1. She understands how to control the tempo as well as take games over yet “Her Clutchness” dropped a 3 down the stretch to give them a shot at knocking off Pearland in the semis
Mecca Crawford Mecca Crawford 6'3" | C North Crowley | 2026 State TX -6’2 C (North Crowley)
Crawford is “long and athletic” and that’s still the base yet I love her upside because she has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots. She also rebounds on both ends of the court, runs the floor, and understands how to defend both inside and outside the paint. The finishing around the basket was nice and will get better
Mariyah Dickson Mariyah Dickson 5'10" | PF Cy Creek | 2026 State TX -5’9 CG ( Cy Creek)
Dickson has a nice first step and she showed she could maneuver around defenders in the half-court as well as blow by them in the open court. She finished strongly after contact yet her body control is a huge plus. She also created her shot under pressure as well as made some tough passes look easy. Solid defender
Aubrey Hampton Aubrey Hampton 6'2" | C Cy Creek | 2026 State TX -6’3 C (Cy Creek)
Hampton scored off the dribble in a video I tweeted from Livestream yet her college-ready frame is already showing signs of doing some interior damage. Part of that is her showing signs of the “hands and footwork” being effective and with her strength, I forsee her scoring with players literally hanging on her body
