TOP PLAYERS – Freshman
Sophia Sandoval (Lourdes Academy) – 5’6 Guard
Sandoval is a talented and skilled guard that leads a Lourdes squad in scoring as a freshman with 14.6 points per game. She is deadly in catch and shoot situations from 3 on a team that spreads the floor and lets it fly from deep.
Ashley Martinez Ashley Martinez 5'4" | SG Somerset Silver Palms Academy | 2026 State FL (Somerset Silver Palms) – 5’5 Guard
Martinez is averaging 17.6 points per game and shooting 41% from 3 knocking down 4+ 3s per game. The 5’5 Freshman is one of the state’s top shooters, as she is in range the second she steps in the gym. She has great form, quick release, and has range well beyond the 3-point line.
TOP PLAYERS – Sophomores
Samantha Bautista (SLAM! Miami) – 5’6 Guard
Bautista is a slender, athletic guard who is averaging 12.4 points per game and is one of the top shooters in the state. SLAM! is a young team that is off to a slow start after a big 2021-22 season and Bautista has an increased role due to injuries. Her ability to be a consistent scorer and shoot a high percentage from 3 is vital to SLAMs success.
Lena Girardi Lena Girardi 5'10" | SF IMG Academy | 2025 State FL (Westminster Academy) – 6’0 Guard
Girardi is a big, strong, skilled perimeter player who scores at a high level and is very efficient from the field. She has great size and strength for a perimeter player, attacking off the dribble and knocking down open 3s. She is a consistent scorer who is effective with the ball in her hands and does a great job at putting the ball in the basket. She has a big role with Westminster and will be a key to them getting back to Lakeland and competing for a state championship.
Riley Stoker Riley Stoker 6'0" | PG Somerset Prep North Lauderdale | 2025 State FL (Somerset Prep North Lauderdale) – 6’2 Wing
Stoker is averaging 9.4 points and 3.3 steals per game. Her long, athletic build is a tough matchup for most opponents. Her long wingspan allows her to get a lot of tips and deflections as well as rebound the ball well form the perimeter position. While on the offensive end she can shoot over defenders, finish at the rim and let it fly from 3.
Emma Smith (St. Andrews) – 5’9 Combo Guard
Smith leads her team in scoring at just over 15 points per game, leading St. Andrews to a 6-3 record to start off the season. Just a sophomore, the 5’9 combo guard is skilled and efficient. She plays under control and is a good decision maker with the ball in her hands.
Janiah Suprius Janiah Suprius 5'5" | CG Seminole Ridge | 2025 State FL (Santaluces) – 5’8 Guard
Suprius is doing a little bit of everything for Santaluces averaging 14.1 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. Her strong, physical build allows her to get into the paint and take contact vs physical defenders. She gets to the free throw line frequently by attacking off the dribble and getting into the paint.
