I am a REAL EVALUATOR, contrary to what you may think or have heard but when I tag #ThereIsNoMe, I’m not being arrogant, well in a way I am, yet I’m keeping it real and anything I tell you, I back with real data, not much of this make-belive stuff that flourishes on social media
I caught players in the 1 on 1 skill session as well as the 5 on 5, so here are some that just stood out in the games from the 2027 class, you can catch even more on these, as well as ALL THE PLAYERS on my website as well as BLOG
Aja Smith-5’4 PG (Lady Jets)
Smith is a heady guard that already understands how to control the tempo as well as set her teammates up. Her court vision is ahead of her years as she makes pinpoint passes in traffic for assist opportunities yet she also handled the ball under pressure and showed a variety of moves while doing so, especially in the open court as her slight HEZ, hesitation, kept the defender off balance yet it also gave her opportunities to either score or dish off the dribble

Simmons is “long and athletic” and one more time, that is the base that not only I use but many college coaches use as well, they offer scholarships so what are some of her intangibles? First of all, her first step can be devastating because it enables her to get by the defender with ease. She scored on the attack showing some impressive body control and she finished equally impressive after contact. She also does a good job at not only creating her shot but dropping it from the midrange
Jazman Bailey Jazman Bailey 5'7" | PG Mansfield Lake Ridge | 2027 TX -5’8 SG (Pro Skills)
Bailey was called a #D1Lock shortly after my initial sighting of her on the court, I guess in the 6th grade. The scary part about it is I’m elevating that to not only #BCSLock and you can throw away the key because she’ll be one of the top players in the country. Yeah, she scores off the dribble, attacking, and finishing with either hand yet watching her elevate over defenders for her jumper, mid to long range continues to make her a nightmare to defend. She’s also added a nice fadeaway jumper, be ready for what’s coming
Kiran Karundethu-5’4 PG (Lady Jets)
Karundethu showed her ability to run a team and watching her drop the pull-up jumper over and over in transition at that was the icing on the cake for me. Yes, she has a deceptive first step which enables her to get by defenders both in the open court as well as the set but she also saw the floor from the length of the court as well as in the half-court. Her decision-making under pressure was solid and she mixed up nicely offensively showing she could finish strongly after contact
Skylar Harvey-5’6 SG (BIQ)
Harvey has the college-ready frame already and the game is, well on its way to that as well. She already “gets it” and understands how to get hers “in the flow” as well as take over when she has to. She sets the defender up nicely with a slight hesitation, yeah the HEZ, and attacks strongly, at times relentlessly, yet under control. She uses good body control and also understands how to create contact. In the open court, her change of pace, COP, gets the defender off balance and she can drop the jumper
Kayden Herberle-5’11 F (Pro Skills)
Heberle uses her size as well as her athleticism quite well yet her versatility offensively is going to be an issue for defenders. She rebounds strongly on both ends, and she scores on putbacks as well as “around the basket” numerous ways yet she doesn’t mind the physicality and that is a huge plus as contact is irrelevant. She scores off the dribble yet, in fact, she went baseline a few times to get “and one” opportunities. To top it off, she showed both the mid and long-range yet her interior defense was equally impressive
Nadia Jordan-5’5 PG (Pro Skills)
Jordan has always shown me she would be in the mix and when I caught her a few years ago playing up with her older sisters, I knew what was coming. You can’t teach heart, desire, or poise under pressure and she would not back down against anyone. Nothing has changed and her explosiveness both in the open court as well as in the set makes her hard to handle because she handles the ball with either hand, sees the floor as well as drops it from outside but her powerful finishes are just…
