Claire Roberts Claire Roberts 5'8" | CG Lexington Christian Academy | 2025 State KY had a great overall performance at the Jim Rose Classic. She is a lethal three point shooter with incredible range on her shot. I was so impressed with how much of a vocal leader she is on the court. Roberts plays the game the right way, and does whatever it takes for her team to win. Over the course of three games she averaged 19 points and 7 rebounds per game, including 9/16 (56%) from three while shooting 12/14 (86%) at the free throw line. Her stellar play earned her All-Classic team honors. Roberts looks to continue her good play as she is on pace for a solid sophomore season.
Nia Carr Nia Carr 5'5" | PG Great Crossing | 2027 State KY is an exciting young guard with an incredible wingspan and a ton of untapped potential. Carr has tremendous speed and quickness. That combined with her elite ball handling skills makes it hard for defenders to guard her. She is a very consistent three point shooter as well giving her the ability to really impact the game on offense. Carr put a game high 20 points along with 3 steals in a blow out win against Dayton.
I starting covering Abbigail Beard Abbigail Beard 5'7" | PG Berea | 2024 State KY last summer during the Lex-Cath Summer league games. Since then she has made major improvements and really elevated her game. The Lady Pirates are on a 7- game winning streak and they look to repeat as District Champs this season. At the Jim Rose Classic Beard had a career high 28 points and 4 rebounds in a OT victory against Cumberland County making her an easy All-Classic team selection.
Piper Graham
Piper Graham
Watching Piper Graham play at the classic I was nothing short of impressed with her game. Graham is a super skilled combo guard with handles like a point guard and the shooting touch of a shooting guard. She is super competitive and plays really hard on both ends of the floor. Graham flies a bit under the radar playing for a home school team. But she has great upside and loads of potential.
Abby Morgan Abby Morgan PG Cumberland County | 2026 State KY is a pass first point guard that likes getting her teammates involved. She thrives in transition always looking to push the pace to get layups on the fast break. Morgan at just a freshman already has the prototypical build for a basketball player her height and long arms really caught my eye. Once she develops a consistent jump shot Abby Morgan Abby Morgan PG Cumberland County | 2026 State KY will be a household name at Cumberland County before you know it.
