December has always been a time we target for rankings expansion and updates, and last week the Class of 2026 added 15 new members to its group, plus a Top-20 was formed from those 75 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at five members of the 2026 class who remain on the watchlist, but who stand out with their strong play and potential to develop into nice prospects over their four-year high school careers.

– Kenadi is a talented athlete who plays with a great deal of energy. She has speed and quickness, a wiry-strong frame, and she flies around the floor in every direction. She can defend a variety of positions, plus she is great at collecting steals/deflections from help-side. Offensively, she is more of a driver/slasher right now, but she can knock down the occasional outside jumper to keep defenses honest. As she continues to develop her perimeter shot, she will be that much more dangerous, because it’s already difficult to keep her from penetrating the lane. I’m not sure she’s going to grow much more, so it would also benefit her to become more of a true point guard.

, 2026, 5-4 PG, Northeastern H.S.
– Adysson has gotten her career started off nicely, and she’s provided a nice backcourt presence for the Lady Knights. She is quick/fast, good with the ball, and she possesses a lot of length at her height. She is a capable on-ball defender, but it’s her poise and awareness that have really helped their offense this season. She is still best getting to the basket, but she is starting to make more shots outside. As that continues to come around, she’ll be a multilevel scoring threat. Even still, she is averaging 13.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.7 steals per game through her first 12 games. Look for her to become even more consistent as she gains strength.

, 2026, 5-8 W, Greensburg H.S.
– Aly is another highly energetic, athletic prospect who has a bright future ahead of her. She is extremely long, she looks like she still might grow another 2-3 inches, and she has speed and quickness as well. She can play any number of positions, and her versatility right now makes her a really nice option for Greensburg. She can score it at all three levels, she almost effortlessly slices to the basket for scores, and she’s great in transition out in the open floor. As she gets stronger, she will shoot it more consistently as well, but she’s already a threat outside. Defensively, she’s a real problem, because she can guard the ball or really cause havoc as a help-side defender.

Evansville Central | 2026
State

, 2026, 6-0 F/C, Evansville Central H.S.
– Evansville Central hasn’t posted a winning record since the 2017-2018 season, and eight wins is the most they’ve had in a season since then. This year, thanks to Madalyn and others, they are already 7-7 to start the year. She is a highly skilled front-liner with a fluidity to her game. She has great length, a little bounce, and a high IQ for the game. I don’t know that I’ve seen many kids at her age with the number of moves, counter-moves, and ball-fakes, or anyone who uses them as effectively. Additionally, she has touch outside plus some ball skill. She almost has a Euro style of game to her. If she grows another inch or two, watch out, because she is already a nice prospect.

Plainfield | 2026
State
IN
, 2026, 5-5 G, Plainfield H.S.
– With a number of 2022 graduates, Berkeley saw a lot of opportunity staring her in the face as a Freshman, and she has certainly taken advantage of that. She is a high-motor, tough-nosed, energetic guard who just gets things done. She plays much bigger than she is, and she absolutely battles at both ends of the floor each possession. She has ball skill and can initiate the offense, she’s a very good perimeter shooter with some range, plus she’s an effortful defender who isn’t afraid of anyone. Through her first nine games, she is averaging 12.2 points and 4.3 rebounds, while knocking down nearly two 3-pointers per game, along with 71% of her free throw attempts.
