Portland Holiday Classic: Emerald & Sapphire Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='211126' first='Morgan' last='Miller'] is an all-around guard for Lincoln. Malia and Kamakila are two sisters for Cleveland who are double the trouble. [player_tooltip player_id='251701' first='Maggie' last='Lapray'] is a tough shooting guard for South Salem.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158539' first='Lizzy' last='Bennett'] 2023 5'11" SF West Salem HS - Lizzy truly does it all, as she is a savvy three-level scorer who has a high IQ for the game. Can slip into the defense and make tough shots based on skill alone, but also has the awareness to dump it off to an open teammate. Look for her to lead West Salem in her bracket. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='502352' first='Emma' last='Zuniga'] 2026 5'10" SF West Salem HS - Zuniga received Capitol City Classic All-Tournament honors, as the freshman plays years beyond her stature. A finesse type of player who gets to the rim swiftly and finishes while she is there. Athletic player who makes plays on defense based on instincts alone. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='211126' first='Morgan' last='Miller'] Lincoln 2023 5'10" SG Lincoln HS - a scrappy and attentive shoot guard who can knock only known it down from deep, but is a facilitator when the ball is in her hands. Defensively she is on cue as she makes it her job to make it hard for her opposition to score. All-around player on both ends of the floor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Malia Waiwaiole/Kamakila Waiwaiole 2024 5'11" SF Cleveland HS - a piercing, sharp shoot guard who has a nose for knowing down the big triple, whether it is with one or two dribbles or off the catch. Uses the same intensity to get to the rim. Also uses her competitiveness on the defensive end of the floor. Same can be said about sister Kamakila. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='251701' first='Maggie' last='Lapray'] 2023 5'8" SG South Salem HS - a skilled shooting guard who had a team high 17 points in South Salem's last game versus Central at the Capitol City Classic. Can shoot the ball but also very crafty with her handles. A leader who isn't afraid of the big moment, as she had 16 of her points versus Central in the second half to go along with four three-pointers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
