Both teams come into this game undefeated; Sandia at 2-0 and Albuquerque at 4-0. This is going to be a potential playoff preview between two contenders for the 5A State Championship. This will be a fun game to watch between two teams that faced off quite bit last season. Despite playing different positions, they both impact the game differently for their respective teams. This matchup could also be setting up another playoff preview down the road.
