As the season starts to come to an end and tournament season is about to begin, awards and accolades are starting to come to fruition. This has been a great season of basketball with girls breaking out of the gates, making a name for themselves along the way. We saw teams come together and handle adversity, while some continued on an excellent trajectory. Most importantly, girls in the state got better and not only did the individual do so, but parity around the state is up as well.

BCAT, which stands for Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee, named their all-stars to their annual event. I must say, they did an excellent job choosing young ladies who are worthy of recognition. This East vs. The West event will have some exciting matchups that will be a must see. It will truly be an amazing All-Star event and I can't wait to see these girls go toe to toe. Here at PHG Tennessee, we've had the honor of following these young ballers throughout their high school career. I can honestly say I am proud of them and watching them ball out is amazing. They never seemed to disappoint anytime they took the floor. This game can be tough, full of adversities, yet these girls overcame time and time again to display heart and excellence when it came to the hardwood.

This is the first segment as we highlight the BCAT All-Star squads. Each team will be featured throughout the coming weeks.

Division II Team 1

Lily Brady (5'6/Sr./PG/ Chattanooga Christian)- Quickness.Poised. Great court awareness. Lily can create opportunities for herself and others. Has a nice first step move coming out of a triple threat position. Isn't shy to unleash the rock from a long range. Anticipates well on the defensive end. Has had an outstanding year where she has played both guard positions. Coachable talent, she's a threat anytime with the ball in her hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='399926' first='Emmie' last='Moore'] ( 5'8/Sr./PF/ Fayette Academy)- Two-way contributor that just hustles. Doesn't matter the opponent, they are going to get Emmie's best in that game. From scoring inside the arc, to grabbing boards, to getting steals, this girl is relentless as she contributes to her team's success. Great all -around talent, she's a true competitor and always steps up to the challenge nightly.

[player_tooltip player_id='421980' first='Atyia' last='Moss'] (5'8/Sr./SG/ Clarksville Academy)- Smooth operator, Atyia is phenomenal with the ball in her hands. A multi-level scoring threat, she displays a great court presence every time she steps on the floor. She can thread the needle, get to the basket, defend, and of course knock down shots. She's a hard working kid that makes the game look flawless.

Amari Gillispie (5'8/Sr./ SF/ Battle Ground Academy)- She's been the glue to a lethal Lady Wildcats attack. Great two way player who just loves to ball. Doesn't matter if she's on defense or offense, she's going to affect the possession one way or another. From knocking down shots both inside and out, crashing boards, diving for loose balls, blocking shots, you name it, she's a tough opponent anytime someone plays BGA.

Chatham Ibach (5'9/ Sr./ SG/ CAK)- Solid contributor to the CAK attack, it's not about statistics with this young lady, but more about the team. She does the little things right, gaining opportunities for her club. From being on the glass, getting steals and deflections, to hitting open shots when needed, she's just a kid who brings her lunchpail to the gym every time the lights come on.

[player_tooltip player_id='285369' first='Abby' last='McFarland'] (5'9/Sr./ SG/ PCA)- Multi level scoring guard who has the Midas touch. She's a knockdown shooter who is lethal on all 3 levels. She's a hustler, plays the game with heart and a lot of passion. Is an intricate part of the Lady Lions attack. A Lee University commit, this young lady is a stud hooper who knows how to find the bottom of the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='490208' first='Lauren' last='Rust'] (6'1/ Sr./ PF/ Webb-Bell Buckle)- Hardworking post who is beast down low. A bucket inside the paint and in the mid range game, she will occasionally unleash a 3, but her bread and butter is from within the arc. Excellent on the boards. Anticipates well and has a nice touch around the rim. Hard working big who gets after it on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='285378' first='Kayli' last='Clarkson'] (6'0/ Sr./ PF/ Briarcrest)- Big high-low post player who knows how to work the mid-range game. Gets up and down the floor well. Has a nice touch from the arc. Does the little things affect the outcome of the game. A big piece of the Briarcrest attack, she gets after it. A nightly walking double-double, she contributes not only in the scoring column, but add the rebounding column as well. Hard working kid who gets the job done.

[player_tooltip player_id='399955' first='Bella' last='White'] (5'7/Sr./PG/ Baylor)- University of Alabama-Huntsville commit is sweet with the ball in her hands. A pace and space facilitator, has great court presence. Can deliver the ball in tight windows, knock down clutch buckets on all 3 levels, hits open teammates in rhythm, and gets after it on the defensive end. Heady player who is a tough opponent.
[player_tooltip player_id='399641' first='Bree' last='Robinson'] (5'8/ Sr./ SG/ Webb-Bell Buckle)- The Michigan State commit is super tough. Multi-level scoring threat who is lethal in all phases of the game. Has a special shooter's touch, the ball always finds the bottom of the net. Impressive on the defensive end, where she uses her ability to anticipate, jumping passing lanes to get steals leading to transition buckets. She's a tough kid who gets after it every time she steps on the floor.Lil
