Here we take a look at a few of the standout players from this match-up

[player_tooltip player_id='558892' first='Jerzy' last='Robinson'] Desert Vista (Pictured right)

The standout freshman did a little bit of everything for the Thunder. She initiated the offense, worked from the high and low post showing an offensive game well beyond her years. Easily the top 2026 prospect in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='203873' first='Shay' last='Ijiwoye'] Desert Vista (Pictured left)

The lead guard was the steadying force for DV. She could have scored more but chose to sacrifice her offense in order to get her teammates going. She showed a very quick first step to go along with shooting range that extends beyond the three point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='586382' first='Emma' last='Dasovich'] Valley Vista

The junior post displayed the ability to run the floor very well . She also was very effective as a rebounder as she continuously rebounded out of area. She moved in from Minnesota and has been a productive player.

[player_tooltip player_id='339069' first='Michaela' last='Fairwell'] Desert Vista

Fairwell has good length and showed a nice shooting touch. She's also an above average rebounder and plays with energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='208237' first='Hannah' last='Young'] Valley Vista

The senior showed a knack for keeping the defender on her hip while operating in the post. She also showed to be a willing passer out of the double team.

[player_tooltip player_id='205646' first='Eanae' last='Dagons'] Desert Vista

Dagons was probably the best defender in the game that I saw. She displayed nonstop effort and was a pest on defense. She also showed a good touch from three point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='65617' first='Olivia' last='Arvallo'] Valley Vista

The senior guard ran the show and kept the turnovers down against a top level defense. Arvallo also hit some timely three's late in the game to give her team a chance at pulling the upset.
