Last, but certainly not least, is a 2025 prospect that has already made major waves in South Carolina’s multi-competitive 5A girls basketball landscape. Fairwell has translated the momentum from what was a superb 2023-24 campaign with Dutch Fork into the travel realm with Southeast All-Stars. She has landed an offer from Division I UC-San Diego out of the Big West. One can understand why the Tritons would be thrilled to have Fairwell in blue and gold following her senior season in Silver Foxes green. Fairwell posted numbers of 17.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.6 steals and 3.1 assists in 23 games and her Dutch Fork team compiled a 23-4 record along with going 8-0 in Region 4-5A.

Fairwell and her 5A Dutch Fork squad would win all three of its contests at the Copperhead Classic by double-digits. This included when the Silver Foxes thrashed Palisades by a final of 72-21. Fairwell led all scorers with 19 points. Among the many attributes to her game that make Fairwell so valuable to Dutch Fork is how she can give her team productive minutes either in the backcourt as a two or in the frontcourt as a three. Fairwell also plays very effective defense – steals she collects on the defensive end can lead to transition buckets on the other side of the floor.

The girls basketball team at 5A Dutch Fork garnered national headlines from this year’s She Got Next Tournament because of pitching a 95-0 shutout over Lamar. The Silver Foxes may not have pitched a shutout against their area rivals from 4A Irmo, but it still was a dominating performance keyed in large part by Fairwell. She finished with 20 points to help her Silver Foxes claim the southwest bracket crown. Fairwell displays impressive ball handling skills and uses her length to effectively clog the passing lanes of an opposing team. She also displays a consistent ability to score at all three levels.
