Eryn McKinzie Eryn McKinzie 6'0" | SF Brewer | 2024 State TX was one of the big surprises for me during last seasons club ball action and sophomore Aolani Woldai Aolani Woldai 5'7" | CG Brewer | 2025 State TX caught my eye in the 8th grade but I saw even more
Brewer
Chania Price-6’0 F [2024]
Price is “long and athletic” which will always be the base and it’s of the profiles I love to evaluate, so do college coaches and they offer scholarships. She rebounded, on both ends, made nice moves off the dribble to attack the basket, and showed she could score facing the basket, I’m almost certain I saw her during the club season doing just that as well. A solid defender that also did something I love to see, played the passing lane
Eryn McKinzie Eryn McKinzie 6'0" | SF Brewer | 2024 State TX -5’11 CG/SF [2024]
McKenzie left me somewhat speechless at Prime Time Nationals and she showed me I did not see a mirage. Her first step helps get everything going as she attacked fiercely yet under control, her body control played a part in that. I also enjoyed her “seeing the floor” and she made good decisions yet after playing the passing lane, she handled the ball well in the open court. She did a good job defending, she also rebounded on both ends and even scored on putbacks
Julie Kasonga Julie Kasonga 6'1" | PF Brewer | 2025 State TX -5’9 F [2025]
Kasonga had me thinking about one word after watching her go after the ball, relentless, because no matter where it was coming off the rim, she was after it. She also went for loose balls, including diving on the floor after it. She understands how to use her body inside the paint and scored with players literally hanging on her. Solid upside
Aolani Woldai Aolani Woldai 5'7" | CG Brewer | 2025 State TX -5’8 CG [2025]
Woldai changed the momentum when she came into the game and what started out as a close game in which they were behind, started going the other way. Her on-the-ball defense is “smothering” and she creates turnovers yet her energy level stays the same and it trickled down to her teammates. I loved her court vision but watching her throw blazing passes with either hand in traffic made me smile. She’s also explosive off the dribble, scoring after contact plus she too played the passing lane

Kendall Locke-5’8 SG [2023]
Locke understands how to not only create her shot under pressure but get it off while being defended and knocking it down with a hand in her face. She did a good job of handling the ball under pressure also, especially in the open court and she saw the floor well, making tough passes to the right teammate to get them some looks
Cheryl Grubgs-5’7 C [2024]
Grubbs gets the #THROWBACK hashtag because of what she did inside the paint at her height. When you UNDERSTAND the simple things, like positioning, big things can happen and she grabbed rebounds against taller players, she scored around the basket, and peep this, she took charges
