Take a look at some additional looks at prospect game performances below!
It was Cook’s defense that first grabbed my attention. She showed the willingness and ability to defend from baseline to baseline. A great example of this was when Cook picked up a steal off a pass, took it to the open floor and turned it into free throw opportunities. She forced multiple turnovers through the course of the game. Cook showed the ability to shoot with range by drilling multiple catch and shoot threes.
Molli Schultz
Molli Schultz
Schultz was really impressive in this game. She shouldered a lot of the load when it came to ball handling and responsibilities with the ball. She finished with 14 of her team’s 26 points. Schultz was a confident shooter that showed deep range on her jumper. She contributed on both ends and created a few turnovers with her perimeter defense.
Alexis Woodbeck
Alexis Woodbeck
Woodbeck was key in Flushing’s tight game with Powers Catholic. She really battled all game long. Woodbeck picked up a couple of put back buckets and showed that she could take the ball to basket with physicality. She did a great job playing through contact. Woodbeck played tough defensively as well, showing a willingness and ability to defend in the paint. She did a nice job using angles to deny the entry pass.
Tremain caught my eye early in the game. She did a great job looking down the floor and delivering accurate passes that led to high percentage looks. Tremain showed that she can handle the ball and direct traffic. She had an impressive athletic take to the rim with her right hand. Tremain showed range on her jumper with a corner triple. I liked her aggressiveness with the ball in her hands.
Parker was very impressive in the game against Flushing. She showed a diverse skill set. Her passes to the paint were crisp and accurate. Parker was the game high scorer and did it in a variety of ways. She showed 3 point range off the catch and shoot and showed that she could score athletically when going downhill at the rim. Parker even caught a feed with her back to the basket, went to the rim with physicality, and drew a foul.
Ali Phillips
Ali Phillips
Phillips was highly influential in the win against Shelby. She showed confidence in her shot and the ability to hit it with deep range. Phillips also displayed the willingness to drive and penetrate the lane and dump the ball off to teammates in scoring positions. Specifically, she had a really pretty drive and dish to a teammate that led to a foul and free throw attempts.
