The 2030 Class Rankings have finally hit the internet after months of evaluation by our scouts. After much deliberation and reflection, we have decided that these are the freshmen prospects we feel good about ranking right now. Based on current fundamental abilities, expected development by senior year, and height, length, athleticism, and size needed to play their projected position in college, these prospects all have a D1/D2+ or D2/D3+ rating heading into high school. The top two prospects each hold a D1 offer, which is why we chose to rank them first in this initial ranking. We ranked all 35 prospects based on multiple evaluations in different competitive environments. Every prospect who was ranked performed at a high level in front of our scouts against college-level talent, either at the PGH Freshman Showcase or at another showcase/AAU tournament in the past six months. What a prospect does or does not do against college-level talent matters when determining their college trajectory. There are prospects outside of the top 35 with the potential to break into the top ten, and movement is to be expected as observations and college offers increase over the years.

The Watch List includes prospects who have demonstrated college potential in front of our scouts at some point. There are high-level prospects we have not seen or have not seen enough to assign a ranking. The number of ranked prospects will increase every few months, and we are excited to see all of these girls make an immediate impact for their high school programs. Here are the girls we currently see as the top five 2030 prospects in Michigan. A thorough and detailed resource is linked below to explain everything you need to know about the rankings process. Remember, the rankings are a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability. These are not lists of who the most productive or skilled high school players in the state are going to be or are right now.

Rankings Explanation

Olivia is one of two 2030 prospects who currently hold a D1 offer (Bowling Green State University, MAC). She separated herself as an elite point guard prospect in May, then followed with multiple strong showings in summer games for Rockford. Three-point shooting, excellent court vision, polished ball-handling control, precision passing, ability to slash to the basket and finish, length that translates to the higher levels at guard, quickness in the open court, finishing finesse, and defensive prowess; Olivia starts off her high school career at number one.

Natalie is one of two 2030 prospects who hold a D1 offer right now (High Point University, Big South), and she's been consistent in front of our scouts for nearly a year. Regardless of what the format has been (AAU, HS games, Showcases, Elite Camps), she's separated herself as an elite talent in this class. Natalie has length and skill that translate to the higher levels as a guard-wing prospect. She's a sniper from beyond the arc with a silky smooth mid-range jumper, crafty footwork, and good ball-handling control. Natalie uses her length to disrupt shots on the defensive end, and she finishes well around the basket after slashing to the basket. I expect her to be a major contributor this winter for possibly the most talented D2 roster in the state.

Bailey consistently performed at a high level in AAU tournaments and at elite camps, with her groundbreaking performance coming at the Freshman Showcase. She was dominant, sinking threes and getting to the rim at will. Bailey has length, strength, deadly accuracy from three, balance, versatility, mobility, and fundamental skills to excel as an inside/outside guard-wing-forward. She looks and plays like a high-level wing prospect. Bailey protects the rim as an aggressive shot blocker and earned an All-Defensive team selection at the Freshman Showcase.

After a strong AAU season with Mystics P24, Julia continued to separate herself at elite camps, open runs, and the Freshman Showcase. Her length translates to the higher levels as a guard; she's athletic and has advanced polish to her game. Julia has excellent footwork in the paint, finishes with balance, strength, and touch around the basket, rips the nets from three, facilitates, and competes with endless energy that makes her a stat stuffer in every category. A Top Performer at the Freshman Showcase, I'm calling my shot now that Julia will be All-League in the TVC. She's a big piece of the puzzle and why Freeland is a D2 contender.

It's difficult to get run at Belleville as a freshman with the loaded roster they have, but Autumn is a playmaker who has the talent to carve out a role for herself in the rotation. She's athletic, has a strong, filled-out frame, gets by defenders with a burst off the dribble, sees the floor, facilitates effectively, is fundamentally sound with a crafty, elusive handle, finishes well around the basket, has smart instincts off the ball, is an active rebounder, and rips the nets from three. Belleville is adding another high-level prospect to their program.
