Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top standout guards/wings from last weekend's Nixa Invitational Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='317337' first='Addison' last='Bjorn'] (Park Hill South): The 6'2" 2026 guard was tremendous in leading the xx to the tournament championship. She was scoring at all three levels, but her playmaking skills were just as impressive. She was dropping some very nice dimes in the half court or in the transition game. She is very smooth in everything she does and the game already slows down well for her.

[player_tooltip player_id='107017' first='Kaemyn' last='Bekemeier'] (Republic): The 5'9" 2023 Missouri State recruit displayed her impressive bucket-getting skills in the Tigers victory over Notre Dame in the third place game. Her three-level game was very strong, which included a pair of deep 3-pointers that were well beyond the line. She has a nice mid-range game and she can create her own shot off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='317343' first='Ava' last='Miles'] (Park Hill South): A 6'0" 2026 guard who does her share of ball handling and facilitating with the ball in her hands and she's very effective. She's very good in the transition game as she runs the court well. She also uses her height well to score inside against smaller guards on mismatches.

Lily Mahy (Nixa): A 5'9" 2024 guard who plays the game with a lot of energy. She rebounds well from the guard position and she is looking to advance the ball with the push or the lead pass. She can slash to the basket well and she knocked down a 3-pointer from the right wing.

[player_tooltip player_id='429284' first='Misora' last='Nambara'] (Republic): A 2024 point guard who is an absolute pest on the defensive end with her quickness and on-ball pressure. She moves her feet well and she has quick hands to harass opposing ball handlers. She forced a couple of five-second calls with her pressure in the third place game. She also uses her speed to beat defenders on offense with her dribble penetration. She has a very effective floater when she gets into the lane.

Jacy Bray (Nixa): A 2024 guard does many important things to help her team succeed. The young lefty is a strong defender who is always in the right position and she is more than willing to take charges. She can also hit a nice mid-range jumper off the dribble.

Olivia Lawson (West Plains): A 2024 guard who was effective when she was in constant motion on offense. She was very effective when cutting without the ball and she did a god job of setting up her defenders before making her cut. She could also penetrate and hit a runner in the lane.

[player_tooltip player_id='317336' first='Kate' last='Rubel'] (Cape Notre Dame): A 6'0" 2026 guard who is a matchup problem with her height and good skill level. She can go inside and post up smaller guards to get buckets in the paint. The lefty can also set up shop in the high post or handle the ball and create from the perimeter. She can get to the basket on the drive and she has a nice perimeter shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='317351' first='Brie' last='Rubel'] (Cape Notre Dame): A 5'8" 2026 guard who is a very solid performer at both ends of the court. She is a good playmaker with a nice set of fundamentals. She makes good use of ball fakes to set up her drives to the basket.
