We did our best to rank the best and include as many names as possible as you’ll see across our other rankings. Here’s a look at the No. 16-20 prospects in the 2025 class in New Jersey.
No. 16: Caitlin O’Malley Caitlin O’Malley CG Veritas Christian | 2025 State NJ – CG, Veritas Christian
New program, no problem for O’Malley, who picked up exactly where she left off at Sussex Tech, averaging nearly 16 points a game for Veritas Christian this season. With a season-high 28 points against Hackettstown, she’s more than shown her ability to score and create on offense. It’s her defense that we’ve been even more impressed with, a shut-down guard who can dominate in man or in a zone.
No. 17: Jaida Guerra Jaida Guerra 5'6" | PG Union City | 2025 State NJ – 5-4 PG, Union City
Guerra has exploded onto the scene this season for Union City, taking a massive leap in her game and as a point guard. She’s crafty and skilled in a number of different ways, though her best game is played inside the arc. She’s been a fantastic scorer and is starting to really find herself as a facilitator for Union City. With more confidence, her defense has come along as well.
No. 18: Qui-Mia Wilkins Qui-Mia Wilkins 5'7" | SF Pemberton | 2025 State NJ – 5-7 SF, Pemberton
Wilkins has provided us with a small sample size for the 2022-23 season, but wow has she been incredibly productive in an underrated and overlooked way. Averaging over 20 points a game, her offensive prowess in the lane deserves to be praised as does her high basketball IQ and ability to disrupt offensive schemes for opponents on defense. She’s proven that she can do it all on the floor.
No. 19: Jada Rodgers Jada Rodgers 5'4" | PG Science Park | 2025 State NJ – 5-4 PG, Science Park
We were singing the praises of Rodgers last season, who was really the main piece for Science Park and this year, while the scoring and variety of ways to score has been there, she’s taken some noticeable strides in her passing and versatility as a player. She’s finding open teammates a lot more and not settling for shots in a possession and that kind of selfless basketball has boosted her offensive game while making her more aware and aggressive defensively, creating turnovers and fast break opportunities.
No. 20: Kayla Butler Kayla Butler 5'7" | SF Payne Tech | 2025 State NJ – SF, Payne Tech
Wow what a defensive stalwart Butler has been over the past two seasons, but what a dominant force she’s been this season, posting five double-doubles and six games with five or more steals. She was one of the leaders in steals per game across the state as a freshman and is well on her way to compete for that title as a sophomore. She’s been more aggressive in the lane this season and it’s translated to more baskets and more trips to the free throw line.
