Sydney Doeschot Sydney Doeschot 5'8" | PG Kingsley-Pierson | 2026 State IA
The Kingsley-Pierson wing entered the Panthers program and immediately became one of the most influential players in the Western Valley Conference and 1A. Doeschot is an athletic kid that can score off the dribble and is not shy about going right at the girl in front of her. Doeschot plays with the mindset that there’s nothing she can’t do on the floor. In all honesty, she’s earned that and helped the Panthers to an 8-1 conference record thus far as they get ready to play their conference tournament semi-final.
Nakia Olliverre
The AGWSR freshman has fit right in with the Cougars this season. Olliverrs is in the top 20 in scoring this season, among all classes in Iowa, and she’s been efficient all year. Another thing about Olliverre’s game is that she led the Cougars in assists in her first season in high school. There is a good chance that she improves over the next three seasons, takes her Cougars team to the next level, and competes at the Wells Fargo Center at some point.
It was clear that Zediker was one of the best players in her class, but I think she’s made a statement this season against some of the best teams around. The sophomore was the catalyst in Dowling’s win over Johnston recently, and she had an excellent game in Minnesota against national power Hopkins. No matter where Zediker goes, the Maroon finds ways to succeed. She’s also shown her ability to excel going head-to-head against some of the best players in the country, showing how talented and skilled she is.
There isn’t a kid who had to do more this season for their team than Palmer, and she’s thrived in that adversity. When one of the best kids in the state transfers out, things change by necessity, and Palmer seized that opportunity. Palmer is playing confidently and competes against teams while having one of the most challenging schedules in the state. What I love about Palmer the most is that she hasn’t given up in any of these games. She’s been competing for all 32 minutes and a handful for every opposing defense.
