Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top shooting guards/wings from last Saturday's Sweet Hoops All-Girls Showcase at Lutheran North.

[player_tooltip player_id='194408' first='Hannah' last='Wallace'] (Cardinal Ritter): A 6'1" 2024 wing guard who was the Player of the Game after scoring points in the Lions' victory over Shawnee Mission West. The athletic two-way standout knocked down a pair of high-arching 3-pointers in the first half. Most of her scoring came on her much improved ability to attack the basket and score on floaters and runners. She also played her usual stellar defense throughout the game.

S'Mya Nichols (Shawnee Mission West): The 6'0" 2023 Kansas recruit is still rounding into form after coming back from a torn ACL injury, but you saw some of her ability that makes her one of the most versatile guards in the country. Her shooting is still coming around, but her passing skills and overall court awareness was off the charts. She made some jaw-dropping passes that led to easy buckets for her teammates. She can excel at point guard, the wing or in the low post with her height and physical strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='170601' first='Raychel' last='Jones'] (Vashon): The 5'11" UMKC recruit scored 15 points in the victory over Pattonville in the feature game of the event. She was effective when she was slashing to the basket as she lived at the free throw line throughout the game. She was also excellent on the boards and she has the playmaking skills to be a secondary ball handler.

[player_tooltip player_id='204492' first='Jasmine' last='Gray'] (Pattonville): The 5'8" 2023 guard scored a team high 18 points against Vashon in the feature game of the evening. She has excellent handles and was real assertive in the fourth quarter when she led the Pirates from a double-digit deficit to be in a position to win the game. She was slashing and making mid-range jumpers in the first half. In the fourth quarter, she pulled up and knocked down a pair of 3-pointers as she displayed good competitiveness and senior leadership.

Jayla Turner (Huntsville Lee): The 2024 guard was the shooting star in the Lady Generals' double-overtime victory over Lift for Life in the most exciting game of the event. She earned Player of the Game honors after scoring 20 points, which included six 3-pointers. She came up with clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and overtime periods when her team needed them to the most.

[player_tooltip player_id='302779' first='Jordan' last='Speiser'] (Lutheran-St. Charles): The 6'2" 2025 shooting guard scored 24 points to help lead the Cougars to an impressive victory over Arlington (TN). She displayed her smooth shooting stroke throughout the game as she knocked down a few shots that were well beyond the 3-point line. She also has good playmaking skills to go along with her perimeter shooting.

Brandi Mills (Lift for Life): The 2026 guard scored 17 points in the Hawks' double-overtime loss to Huntsville Lee. She displayed an excellent shooting touch off the catch. She came up with some big perimeter shots down the stretch of this exciting game. She could also drive the ball and get into the lane with an effective two-foot jump stop.

Morgan Chlarello (Shawnee Mission West): A 5'7" 2024 guard who scored 11 points in West's loss to Cardinal Ritter. She is a high energy player who was constantly moving and cutting without the ball. She also made three 3-point shots during the game. She did a good job of coming off screens ready to shoot the ball.
