Lanasia Dubois Lanasia Dubois 5'4" | CG Beloit Memorial | 2025 State WI
Dubois is a player who can score in bunches and has a knack for making things happen off the dribble. She’s a talented kid who understands how to make plays but is learning a lot at Beloit Memorial this season and will continue to do so over the summer. Dubois has improved all year and helped her team compete in the Big 8, and now that she’s played against some elite talent, she’ll have a summer where she’ll look awesome.
Julia Wolf Julia Wolf 5'10" | CG Milton | 2025 State WI
I talked about Wolf recently, and all the points I said a few days ago still hold, but I want to add some of the good things I have heard about her. Everyone who’s seen her in the gym outside of gamedays highlights her willingness to work to improve. She has a passion for the game, and she’s going to get the most out of her game that she possibly can if there’s a chance that she can get into the gym. She’ll be there.
Sophie Trimble Sophie Trimble 5'10" | SF Menomonee Falls | 2025 State WI
I haven’t seen Trimble in person yet, but her competitive nature flies off the screen when I’ve rewatched some Menomonee Falls games. Every ball that comes off the rim seems to find Trimble, and when it comes off the basket in her general direction, she’ll chase it out of her area and create jump ball situations or rip it away from the opposing player. Trimble makes the game easier for her teammates because she’s willing to do anything to give her team a better chance of winning, and she’ll do the craziest things imaginable if it means her team has a better chance of ending the game with a win.
The Kettle Moraine wing jumped out to me this season. Lodes can make things happen off the Lasers bench and swing the course of a game in a few possessions, as she did in the home game against Waukesha West. She has a significant role to play as the Lasers look to make a run back to the Resch Center to defend their Division 1 State Title, and I believe if the Lasers get there, it might be a Keegan Lodes Keegan Lodes 5'11" | SF Kettle Moraine | 2025 State WI coming out party and show the state what she’s all about.
