220 Prospects Make Final 2023 Class Rankings Update [FREE]

The first set of rankings updates of the year kicks off with the final update of the class of 2023. While the list only expanded in total by 20, approximately 30 new prospects have been added since the October update. Several previously ranked players quit, another graduated early, and a couple were errantly included and are now a part of their correct class. Kansas University commit S’Mya Nichols S’Mya Nichols 6'0" | SF Shawnee Mission West | 2023 State #16 Nation KS , Shawnee Mission West, remains at the top. With Derby's Maryn Archer Maryn Archer 5'8" | PG Derby | 2023 #29 Nation KS departure attend and gray shirt at University of Arkansas, the class' top ten has a new addition.

A wide range of resources are drawn upon to create the rankings. My colleague Adrian Maloney and I have been catching games in person and online, studying highlights, coaching and training; reading reports; and communicating with a wide range of people to distill the information down to compile the extensive lists.  Many players have been seen by other PGH scouts as well.  Players out due to injury have not been removed.  Wichita West players continue to be included despite the team's season coming to an early end. As before, I personally would like to thank the parents, fans, other media, coaches at a variety of levels, and especially the players for helping keep our knowledge level high.  The news, photos, video, reports, and comments you have shared with me has been immensely helpful.
