Lauren Vaughan, 6’1 F – Champlain Valley Union High School Class of 2025
It seems like CVU is constantly pumping out highly skilled post players and Lauren is the latest iteration. Vaughan has good senses on both ends. She defends wisely with her length, both inside and out, and knows to funnel players into her help. In addition, she’s a tough rebounder and a quick outlet. Offensively, she aggressively snags post position and has a couple go-to moves that often result in baby hooks + free throws. Plus, she’s mobile enough to move inside and out. Lauren is so solid.
Dieuna Beynonn, 5’4 G – Burlington High School Class of 2026
Dieuna has been a consistent feature in BHS starting lineup from the early going and it’s clear why. Beynonn is an in-your-face on-ball defender with her incredible agility and work ethic, plus she’s a smart off-ball defender with her quick movement into help position. Offensively she simply makes the right play. She’s a strong ballhandler and a pass-first PG who knows how to get everyone involved while remaining a scoring threat herself. Dieuna is a 2026 with tons of potential.
Alana Crittenden, 5’7 G – Lamoille Union High School Class of 2026
One of the most intriguing prospects out of 2026 is Alana. She’s a talented two-way player who gets a lot done with her high motor. Crittenden can play 1-3 with her combination of handle, offensive creation, and defensive prowess. She’s a quick slasher with nice playmaking in the second layer, plus she can knock it down from the perimeter off the catch. And defensively, Alana is everywhere. Her athleticism and anticipation give offenses fits and she’s always in the mix on the glass. Keep tabs on Crittenden.
Sophia Rockwood Sophia Rockwood 5'7" | CG Windsor | 2025 State New E , 5’8 G – Windsor High School Class of 2025
One of D3’s finest, Rockwood has been stuffing the stat-sheet lately with double-doubles off of points and boards, tacking on numerous steals and assists to go with. Sophia is a combo-guard who comfortably plays the 1 or the 2 and she impacts the game in a number of ways. She has great anticipation defensively in both full and half court settings, plus she’s an avid rebounder who likes to push in transition. Sophia’s all-around game of hustle, IQ, and facilitation translates to most any system.
Marlie Bushey Marlie Bushey 5'10" | SG Milton | 2026 State New E , 5’10 F – Milton High School Class of 2026
Bushey just keeps getting better and better. Her inside/out game is so versatile as she takes advantage her defender in numerous ways. She can step out and knock down face-up jumpers against bigger and taller players, or she can deliver post moves against those who can’t handle her down low. Additionally, she’s a nice facilitator out of the post. Then defensively, she’s agile enough to defend on the perimeter or inside, taking care of 3’s and 4’s alike. Marlie is coming along.
