The first thing that I notice is that the players are bigger or taller than ever. So many players on the rankings list that are close to or taller than six-foot. The second thing is that those players often have well rounded and versatile skill sets. You have a lot of taller players who play basketball year round, which results in more well rounded and versatile players. I don't know if the size has changed so much as the skills that go with it. That goes for all sizes tall or small, playing year round and developing skills through training has changed the game for the better over the last 20 to 30 years.
