Ms. Inside-Ms. Outside Combinations

Prep Girls Hoops takes a look at some of the top combinations that feature post players and perimeter players. We call the Ms. Inside and Ms. Outside.   [player_tooltip player_id='255532' first='Kylie' last='Scott']-[player_tooltip player_id='170215' first='Destiny' last='Buerge'] (Carl Junction): This dynamic duo in the SWMO area led Carl Junction to a 25-1 record and a current undefeated record in the COC. The 5'9" Buerge is a Pitt State recruit who can score from anywhere. She is averaging 24.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.6 steals while making 58 3-pointers. The 6'2" Scott is a force on the inside with a versatile skill set. She is currently averaging 14.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.9 blocks a game while shooting 55 percent from the field.   [player_tooltip player_id='107016' first='Natalie' last='Potts']-[player_tooltip player_id='170618' first='Brooke' last='Coffey'] (Incarnate Word Academy): This tremendous tandem has been a big part of the current Red Knights' dynasty, whose current winning streak stands at 8x games. The 6'2" Potts is a Nebraska recruit who is averaging 19.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and two steals a game while shooting 63 percent from the field. The 6'1" Coffey is a versatile wing player who can score and facilitate offense with her playmaking skills. She is averaging 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and three assists while shooting 49 percent from the field.   [player_tooltip player_id='170384' first='Briar' last='Cox']-[player_tooltip player_id='107020' first='Myra' last='Claas'] (Tipton): An excellent tandem in Mid-Mo that has had Tipton among the top Class 2 teams in the state over the past four years. Claas is a 2023 guard who recently became the school's all-time leading scorer. The all-around guard is averaging 23 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.0 steals a game while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range. The 6'0" Cox has been a consistent scorer and rebounder throughout her career. She is currently averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds a game.   [player_tooltip player_id='299460' first='Maggie' last='Collins']-[player_tooltip player_id='424370' first='Brylie' last='Angle'] (Platte Valley): This talented 2024 tandem has been a big reason why Platte Valley has brought home back to back Class 1 state championships. Collins is a 6'0" forward who has been dominating in the low post since she was a freshman. She is a force as a scorer, rebounder and shot blocker. The 5'10" Angle is a versatile big guard who is the primary ball handler as well as being a capable perimeter scorer.   Ai'Naya Williams-[player_tooltip player_id='194408' first='Hannah' last='Wallace'] (Cardinal Ritter): A pair of 2024s who have good size and athleticism for the Lions. Williams is a 6'1" forward who has a wide array of moves in the low post. She is currently averaging 12.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks while shooting 48 percent from the field. Wallace is an athletic 6'0" wing player who can guard multiple positions while developing into a three-level scorer on offense. She is averaging 12 points, 3.8 assists and two steals a game.   Heavan Shockley-[player_tooltip player_id='107945' first='Raegan' last='McCowan'] (Lebanon): A very talented 2023 combo that has been excellent in their one year of playing together. McCowan is a 5'11" wing who recently surpassed 2,000 points and became the school's career-leading scorer. She is averaging 28 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. The 6'1" Shockley has been impressive since transferring over from Central. She is averaging 13.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.8 blocks while shooting 60 percent from the field.   Alivia McCulla-Annalise Dorr ((Parkway South): This 2023 tandem has been starting together for the Patriots for the past four seasons. The 6'0" McCulla is a Rockhurst recruit who is averaging 17.7 points and 7.8 rebounds while blocking 26 shots. The 5'8" Dorr is a powerful guard who can shoot it from the perimeter and get buckets inside. She is averaging 13.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and two assists a game while making 46 3-pointers.   [player_tooltip player_id='170621' first='Megan' last='Aulbert']-[player_tooltip player_id='302779' first='Jordan' last='Speiser'] (Lutheran St. Charles): The Cougars are one of the top teams in Class 5 with this duo leading the way. The 6'3" Aulbert is a 2023 Tennessee Tech recruit who is averaging 13.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and two blocks a game while shooting 57 percent from the field. The 6'1" 2025 Speiser is one of the top perimeter shooters in the state. She is averaging 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists while making 44 3-pointers since returning to the lineup in January from an early-season injury.   [player_tooltip player_id='170614' first='Emilee' last='DeHaas']-[player_tooltip player_id='194420' first='Chloe' last='Bukowsky'] (Southern Boone): An excellent Mid-Mo duo that led Southern Boone to a conference championship this season. The 6'0" DeHaas is a 2023 forward with good strength and solid moves in the low post. She is averaging 14.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks while shooting 55 percent from the field. Bukowsky is a 2024 guard who handles the ball and provides perimeter scoring. She is averaging 14 points, three assists and two steals a game.   Breanna Dohleman-[player_tooltip player_id='194142' first='Brooklyn' last='Kearbey'] (East Carter): An excellent small-school combination down in the SEMO area. Dohleman is a 6'2 2024 forward with good mobility and excellent moves in the low post. She can also rebound and block shots. Kearbey is a talented 2023 guard who recently became the school's career scoring leader. She plays with good pace and she can score at all three levels.
