As we did in our last article talking about the conference and county tournaments happening throughout New Jersey, it's time to wrap up as many of them as we can in this second part of our County/Conference Tournament Recap.

Morris County: Morris Catholic 62, Montville 51

As Morris Catholic has done consistently throughout the regular season, the Crusaders came up big in the MCT final on Friday, an 11-point win over a strong Montville team that saw [player_tooltip player_id='489450' first='Jackie' last='Cinella'] and [player_tooltip player_id='159079' first='Grace' last='Kowalski'] both score 15 points and [player_tooltip player_id='482810' first='Carey' last='Werheim'] nearly post a double-double. [player_tooltip player_id='333302' first='Mia' last='Pauldo'] was the driving force for Morris Catholic in the win, pacing all scorers with 26 points, one of three double-digit scorers for the Crusaders.

Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex County: Sparta 48, Pope John 45

We got some great basketball and some drama in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex County Tournament final on Friday between Pope John and Sparta, the Spartans prevailing with a three-point win. It was Rylee Munier that had herself a day for Sparta in the win, scoring 16 points as both Bailey Chapman and [player_tooltip player_id='155447' first='Ally' last='Sweeney'] had 12 points, Sweeney also dishing out nine assists. Freshman sensation Addison Platt paced Pope John with 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.

Greater Middlesex Conference: St. Thomas Aquinas 49, Colonia 42

In a battle of two strong programs in recent years in the GMC, St. Thomas Aquinas hoisted the GMC trophy once again, using a masterful 12-point, 15-rebound performance from [player_tooltip player_id='414407' first='Leah' last='Crosby'] to lead the team. [player_tooltip player_id='155450' first='Mattison' last='Chiera'] and [player_tooltip player_id='325182' first='Taylor' last='Derkack'] were dominant as always for Colonia, combining to score 34 points on the day, but it was a balanced scoring attack from STA that got them the victory.

Mercer County: Ewing 53, Hightstown 26

The top two seeds in Mercer County played in the tournament final, something that we thought would have a much closer finale, but such wasn't the case in a 27-point blowout win for Ewing, led by a 27-point performance from [player_tooltip player_id='406940' first='Te'Yala' last='Delfosse']. Oh, and she had a double-double at that too with 10 rebounds, also chipping in two steals and to blocks. [player_tooltip player_id='325184' first='Joi' last='Johnson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='325195' first='Rhian' last='Stokes'] combined for six blocks and seven steals defensively and on Hightstown, [player_tooltip player_id='404218' first='Kyla' last='Glasser-Hyman'] had a nice double-double performance.

Bergen County: Saddle River Day 42, Immaculate Heart 37

What would Bergen County be without Saddle River Day pulling out a win at the end of the day in the county tournament, but Immaculate Heart gave them a run for their money on Wednesday in a five-point win for the Colonial Rebels. [player_tooltip player_id='325189' first='Cristina' last='Parrella'] was the go-to for SRD in the win, scoring 15 points, while teammate [player_tooltip player_id='325218' first='Julianna' last='Almeida'] had 11 points. [player_tooltip player_id='321549' first='Isabella' last='Asencio'] led IHA in the loss with a near double-double, 13 points and nine rebounds.

Prep B: Newark Academy 64, Pennington 49

Friday was a popular day for the end of county/conference tournaments and on that Friday evening, Newark Academy emerged victorious thanks to some great play from [player_tooltip player_id='325183' first='Dagny' last='Slomack'], a 26-point masterclass with five made 3-pointers. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id='462152' first='Katerina' last='Dakos'] had a double-double and Zoe Hermans had 12 points and six assists as well for Newark Academy. [player_tooltip player_id='491718' first='Morgan' last='Matthews'] did her thing for Pennington, putting up 25 points in the loss.

NJIC: Lodi Immaculate 58, Secaucus 54

It was a shock title victory for Lodi Immaculate, who took down top-seeded Secaucus in the final on Tuesday, with [player_tooltip player_id='454841' first='Isabella' last='Javier'] and Megan Gentile each scoring 14 points for Lodi. Yasmeen Brightwell also contributed 10 points in the win, but for Secaucus, it was no one else but [player_tooltip player_id='407040' first='Alyssa' last='Craigwell'], going crazy with 29 points, 16 rebounds, two blocks and two steals for the Patriots.

Shore Conference: St. John Vianney 58, Red Bank Catholic 52

Not even the absence of star senior [player_tooltip player_id='134644' first='Zoe' last='Brooks'] was enough to stop St. John Vianney from continuing to stake its claim as the best team in the Shore Conference and in the state. RBC took the Lancers down to the wire, but what a game [player_tooltip player_id='559039' first='Madison' last='Kocis'] had for SJV, a game-high 19 points and 3 three-pointers. Foward [player_tooltip player_id='482271' first='Ashley' last='Sofilkanich'] was also fantastic, putting up 17 points and six rebounds for the Lancers. [player_tooltip player_id='333319' first='Tessa' last='Carman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='333320' first='Christina' last='Liggio'] led the Caseys in the loss, combining to score 25 points.
