Teams got ready for what will be some fantastic playoff basketball and unlike in other weeks, this week will be focused on who produced the most and who came up in the biggest moments during county/conference tournament play. Here are this week’s PGH New Jersey Players of the Week.
North Jersey
Mia Pauldo Mia Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ – Morris Catholic (2025)
Pauldo was herself in the Morris County Tournament final against Montville on Friday and herself was incredible, a 26-point effort in a comeback win for the Crusaders. She was a perfect 8-of-8 from the line, also adding in six assists and three steals while her teammates had some special performances as well. The sophomore is the real deal and then some.
Dagny Slomack Dagny Slomack 5'5" | SG Newark Academy | 2024 State NJ – Newark Academy (2024)
Slomack is known for stepping up in the clutch and oh boy did she do just that for Newark Academy in the Prep B final against Pennington. She finished off her third-straight 25+ point game with 26 points, hitting 5 threes in the win, along with five rebounds, five assists and three steals. She’s averaging 17.8 PPG as a junior for Newark Academy.
Alyssa Craigwell Alyssa Craigwell 5'9" | SF Secaucus | 2024 State NJ – Secaucus (2024)
Craigwell and Secaucus might not have taken home the NJIC Tournament hardware last week, but do not let that overshadow what an incredible championship game performance the junior had for the Patriots, a 29-point, 16-rebound monster double-double, adding in two blocks and two steals just for fun.
Rylee Munier – Sparta (2023)
Munier has had her most productive high school season as a senior and what a game she had in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex County Tournament final. She finished with a career-high 16 points, hitting two three-pointers and shooting a perfect 4-of-4 from the line, as well as recording three rebounds and four steals in a close 48-45 win for the Spartans.
Central Jersey
Madison Kocis Madison Kocis 5'11" | PG St. John Vianney | 2026 State NJ – St. John Vianney (2026)
If there was any time for the freshman to step up and have a career day, what better a time than the Shore Conference Tournament final against Red Bank Catholic. Without the play of teammate Zoe Brooks Zoe Brooks 5'8" | CG St. John Vianney | 2023 State NJ on the floor, someone needed to step up, so enter Kocis, who had 19 points, 3 three-pointers, five rebounds and a steal in the win. Flat-out, what a performance.
Leah Crosby Leah Crosby 6'1" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2025 State NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas (2025)
The sophomore sensation has impressed and dazzles for St. Thomas Aquinas over the past two years, and she came up big in the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament final against Colonia. A close game, down to the wire at the end, Crosby’s defense proved crucial as she had 12 points, 15 rebounds, two blocks and a steal in the end as STA won, 49-42.
Te’Yala Delfosse Te’Yala Delfosse 6'2" | SF Ewing | 2024 State NJ – Ewing (2024)
Delfosse was as advertised and then some for Ewing in the Mercer County Tournament final, an eventual blowout victory for Ewing over Hightstown. She put up a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Blue Devils along with two blocks and two steals, knocking down five three-pointers as well in the win.
Zahra Alexander Zahra Alexander 5'9" | PG Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ – Rutgers Prep (2024)
Alexander, a player who’s definitely shown that she can put up some big days offensively during her career, arguably had her best offensive performance of her career in the Somerset County Tournament final against Gill St. Bernard’s, a 21-point masterclass from the junior as the Argos cruised to victory.
South Jersey
Alivia Mauz Alivia Mauz 5'7" | PG Williamstown | 2025 State NJ – Williamstown (2025)
Mauz led Williamstown to victory, and an emphatic victory in the Tri-County Conference Tournament on Friday, leading the team with a 17-point performance, along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals. It was her 7th game with at least 3 made three-pointers. A special shout out goes to Iriona Graveley, who had a 16-point, 14-rebound double-double performance in the win for the Braves.
Sydney Stokes Sydney Stokes 6'0" | PF Mainland | 2024 State NJ – Mainland (2024)
Stokes stole the show for Mainland in its Cape Atlantic League Tournament victory against Atlantic City on Saturday, posting a 17-point, 15-rebound double-double, arguably her best high school performance to date. It was her fourth game of at least 17 points this season and it couldn’t have come at a better time for Mainland.
Kaitlyn King Kaitlyn King 5'9" | PG Lenape | 2023 State NJ – Lenape (2023)
The senior stepped up with Lenape needed it most in the Burlington County Tournament on Friday, scoring a game-high 15 points, shooting 6-of-7 from the line in a dominant 13-point win. King has had four 15+ point games as a senior, none more important than on Friday, and she’s averaging 10.4 PPG on the season.
Dacia Mack Dacia Mack 5'7" | PG Highland | 2024 State NJ – Highland (2024)
Highland might have come up on the short end of the stick in Friday’s Tri-County Conference Tournament final, but what a game she had for the Tartans, an 18-point effort that included 8-of-11 shooting from the line and two made three-pointers. The junior is currently averaging 11.3 PPG this season for Highland.
