This loaded D2 team has plenty of weapons to choose from. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='93545' first='Tomi' last='Hinkle'] is the real deal at the guard spot and can do it all for them. Also making a big improvement is 2024 forward [player_tooltip player_id='316723' first='Bree' last='Allen'], a player who is capable of taking over a game at any time. She is long and athletic with the game to play both inside or out. Point guard [player_tooltip player_id='319037' first='Kamryn' last='Barnitz'] (feature photo above) is a talented 2025 who is capable of controlling the tempo of the game and dominate from the point position. Two rising freshman are [player_tooltip player_id='481371' first='Bailey' last='Russell'], a 5-8 2026 who is getting better every day she steps on the court. [player_tooltip player_id='481365' first='Addison' last='Godby'] is another 2026 who can play all five positions and guards every one of them also. Bigtime inside threat.

Unioto

Perfection has reached this talented squad as they head into the districts unblemished. The Shermans are led by 2024 Amaris Betts, a sharpshooter who not only can knock down shots from behind the arc, she does it with consistency. Averaging 15 points per game, she is a threat to anyone who wants to throw a zone defense at them. [player_tooltip player_id='537669' first='Milee' last='Smith'] is a fantastic 2026 who has good size, long and lengthy with the ability to score from anywhere.

Berne Union

What a great season from Berne Union, who continues to roll along heading into the district semis this week. They are ranked in the top five in Ohio in D4 and cruised through their opening round tournament game last week. [player_tooltip player_id='160417' first='Sophia' last='Kline'] is a 2023 who leads the way, as the senior leader will be headed to Ursuline next season. For now, Kline uses her length and size to control things around the paint with good moves and uses the glass well. Smart with the ball and protects the ball well. Baylee Mirgon is a solid defender and a good fundamental player.

West Clermont

The magic continues for West Clermont as their unbeaten season continues. They rolled through the Eastern Cincinnati Conference and now has the task of dealing with the gauntlet of the SW Districts and Regionals. They have plenty of firepower including 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='157712' first='Anna' last='Swisshelm'], a solid 6-foot forward who can score from inside and out and can get to the line. [player_tooltip player_id='527786' first='Seini' last='Hicks'] has proven her addition to the team this year has been a big plus. Super athletic, the 6-foot 2024 can rebound well and is strong around the rim. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='319292' first='Layla' last='Hale'] is a 5-11 long and athletic player who has been a good contributor.

Oxford Talawanda

They have survived the season unbeaten but have a tough sectional final on Tuesday with the traditional powerhouse Mount Notre Dame. The Braves bring in a very talented post in 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='280090' first='Kylee' last='Fears'], whose length causes issues for opponents while she also can dominate the paint, led her conference in rebounding and was second in scoring. 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='59745' first='Taylor' last='Farris'] is the consummate point guard with great handles, can control tempo and score on the drive or the perimeter.

Tri-Village

The first time I can remember Tri Village being unbeaten in the regular season and they have some major weapons. [player_tooltip player_id='93556' first='Rylee' last='Sagester'] is a 2023 guard who just set the career three-point mark in Ohio last weekend. [player_tooltip player_id='93548' first='Morgan' last='Hunt'] is another 2023 who is an excellent defender and can take over a game. 2023 Torrie Richards is always overlooked but she is a big component to their success. They look to get through regionals where they have always run into a team from up north that has their number. This year, they look to change that.

Union Local

They advanced to the state final four last year before running into Purcell Marian where they lost by 16. They are back, unbeaten and into the district semis. What a talented duo they have with 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='157703' first='Reagan' last='Vinskovich'] and 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='157710' first='Torre' last='Kildow']. They have one thing on their mind.... making it back to Dayton. She is a double-double waiting to happen. Strong physical player on the boards, can run the floor and can score. Kildow is a three-point threat from the guard spot, can play both guard spots and is a solid on-ball defender with good anticipation.

North Adams

A pretty balanced team who made their way through the Southern Hills Athletic Conference unbeaten. Leading the way is Keetyn Hupp, a 2023 averaging 13.2 points per game along with over 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Kenlie Jones is a 2024 who is also a big contributor at 12 points and an outstanding passer who does a nice job finding her teammates.
