She keeps a solid pace throughout the game but knows when she needs to take it up a notch to keep the defense on their toes. Langley handles the ball extremely well under pressure and is strong when attacking the basket. She shoots the ball efficiently but her forte is finding her open teammates and keeping her teammate involved. Paige is a true floor general!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='261745' first='Mackenzie' last='Forgione'] 2023 - Jenks: Mackenzie is quite a force inside for the Lady Trojans. She is a player that impacts both ends of the floor, every possession. On the offensive end, she positions herself well inside and keeps the defender behind her - once she receives the pass inside, she uses quick and deliberate moves to finish at the rim, nicely. Defensively, she is able to make numerous stops inside as well as around the perimeter. Forgione is strong when rebounding; she is averaging a little over 10 boards a game --- her ability to rebound is pivotal to the success of her team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='556050' first='Tierra' last='Owens'] 2025 - Booker T. Washington: Defense - is what truly stands out about Tierra! She is the player that can lock up any player on the opposing team - the player you do not want guarding you. Tierra's on ball defense is excellent. She dictates where the ball handler will go - if she even allows the ball handler to go anywhere. Owens' defense is suffocating and aggressive! -- defense is what sets Owens apart from the rest but she has the offensive skills to compliment her defense. Owens was one of the most exciting players to watch --</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ky'Liin Johnson Cooper 2026 - Booker T. Washington: Ky'Liin plays the game with poise and confidence. She does an excellent job of keeping the tempo and energy high - on both ends of the court. She is quick but not rushed. Johnson-Cooper sprints down the floor in transition and is aggressive when attacking the rim. She doesn't shy away from contact and does a great job of finishing through the contact. Ky'Liin is a multiple effort player and she plays with determination. She is relentless!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
