Chazmin and the Lady Eagles won a 3rd straight Class 1A State Championship a few weeks back. Bradley a left-handed guard was very instrumental over the years in the Lady Eagles success. Chazmin scored 17 points in her final high school game for the Lady Eagles.
Chazmin finished her career with over 1,425 career points. She was named All-Region 5 times in her career while compiling over 630 steals and 575 rebounds in her time in a Lady Eagles uniform. Chazmin was part of 110 career wins at the school.
Highlights
Page brings some good versatility at times to the floor for the Lady Indians. Leah likes to have the ball in her hands and go to work. She sees the floor well from her position out top and can knockdown the mid-range jumper when given the opportunity.
Leah was hurt a bit at times this season for the Lady Indians. Page averaged 8 ppg, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists this season for the Lady Indians (12-10). Leah can post up at times small defenders.
Rivers surely packs a punch for her size out on the perimeter. She played both spots in the backcourt over for the year for the Lady Iron Horses. Kennedy finished this season at 14.2 ppg for the Lady Iron Horses (20-6). Rivers played 6 years on the varsity level for the Purple.
Rivers finished her 6-year career with 1,522 points and being the all-time leading scorer in school history. She played 112 games in her career at Philip Simmons HS which opened in 2017.
Nash is originally from Peoria, IL and found her way down to the Upstate just four years ago. Alaysia can create her own shot on the floor when needed. She averaged just over 18 ppg this season for Eastside HS. Alaysia always plays well away from ball in being active on the floor at all times. She doesn’t look to force shots. Alaysia shows to have a nice mid-range game and elevation on her jumper.
Highlights
Snyder is best suited off the ball as more of a catch-shoot player. She played 4 solid seasons for the Lady Cyclones and saw plenty of minutes on the hardwood over the years. Asa can keep defenders honest with her ability to knockdown the 3-ball from behind the line. She really plays the game to the fullest at all times and doesn’t mind taking on some contact throughout the night.
Several times this season she saw double teams or a box in one thrown on her. Asa has very solid academics in the classroom.
Washington is an athletic guard who can really get to the rack and create offense for others. She has good playmaking skills and a willingness to defend in the passing lanes. Mike’Ala finished her high school career with over 1,400 career points at Beaufort Academy.
Smith played just one season for the Lady Crusaders after leaving Hillcrest HS. Emma played the game with some savvy and craftiness at times this year with Prep Girls Hoops in attendance. She was able to get her own shot at times and knockdown jumpers on the perimeter. Smith seemed at times to be one step ahead of her teammates with her play on the floor.
