Nash is originally from Peoria, IL and found her way down to the Upstate just four years ago. Alaysia can create her own shot on the floor when needed. She averaged just over 18 ppg this season for Eastside HS. Alaysia always plays well away from ball in being active on the floor at all times. She doesn’t look to force shots. Alaysia shows to have a nice mid-range game and elevation on her jumper.

Alaysia originally comes from the Land of Lincoln but has played all of her high school career down here in the Palmetto State. Nash has a knack to score the ball from anywhere on the floor. She will connect on mid-range jumpers or simply attacking the basket from time to time. Alaysia eclipsed the 1,000-point barrier back in December this season the Lady Eagles.
Alaysia and her teammates will play Catawba Ridge HS in the opening round of the Class 4A Playoffs. Nash is currently averaging 18.1 ppg this season entering the playoffs.

Nash dropped 42 points last night for the Lady Eagles. She can really score the ball at times. She excels in a transition style of play. Alaysia has a nice mid-range game and has the ability to create own shot while on the floor. She plays very active in the passing lanes while picking up plenty of deflections along the way.

Back in September, it was announced that Nash had received an offer to play collegiately at Columbia College. Nash also has participated in grassroots basketball with Upward Stars 3SSB 2023. She led the team to its most successful season, wins-wise, since 2015-16 as the Eagles earned a berth in the 4A playoffs. She stands at 5-foot-7 and thrives as a combo guard that provides a rebounding dimension to the team. Nash delivers all-out hustle and can put points on the board from virtually anywhere on the court. She also has zero problems with absorbing contact and will take her chances at the free throw line.

The trip was particularly long for those stars that arrived in North Charleston from the Upstate. Nash was one of those stars, but she did not seem fazed by the travel. She regularly displayed how effective she can be as a scorer. Nash participated in 23 games last season for the 4A Eagles. Last month, Nash had received an offer from Columbia College and she displayed while she was in North Charleston this weekend why the Koalas have her on her radar. Nash is poised to close out her high school career with an exclamation point before she graduates and heads to the collegiate ranks.

Nash is coming off a noteworthy AAU season where she ran under the Adidas umbrella with Upward Stars 3SSB 2023. She is a potent scorer who can score from virtually anywhere on the floor. She also has no issues absorbing contact and finding her way to the free throw line. Nash is a 5-foot-7 combo guard who also excels as a rebounder and provides plenty of hustle to any team she is playing for. Nash played a major role in the Eagles winning its most games within a season since 2015-16 as Eastside qualified for the 4A playoffs.
