Highlights
Bella Deere Bella Deere 6'1" | PF Cooper | 2024 State KY plays for one of the top teams in the state the Cooper Jaguars. They made it all the way to the Sweet 16 this season and she produce for them in a limited role. Deere is a versatile forward that can stretch the floor with her perimeter shooting and score from the block when she gets the low post feed. I like her ability to guard the perimeter as well as protect the rim with her height and length. You can expect her to contribute a lot more for Cooper next season.(Featured Image)
Talynne Shearer Talynne Shearer 6'1" | PF Rockcastle County | 2024 State KY is a 1,000 points scorer that led Rockcastle in scoring this season with 15.3 points a game and rebounds with 7.0 making her an easy all-region 1st team selection. Shearer is another forward that can really stretch the floor and impact the game inside and out. She is a knock-down three point shooter that takes advantage of her open looks. Shearer is a high volume scorer and a solid rebounder look for her to make some noise this upcoming travel season with Kentucky Premier.
Highlights
Delaney Cooper Delaney Cooper 6'0" | PF Owensboro Catholic | 2024 State KY averaged 12.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game leading Assumption in both categories. She is a skilled left-handed forward that can score from all 3-levels. Cooper shot consistently from the mid-range and long distance all season long. I really like her willingness to run the floor making herself available for transition layups. Cooper knows how to carry a team and with her size and skill she could be a steal at the next level.
There is a reason why Allie Dillon is gaining interest from college coaches. The junior forward was the second leading scorer for a talented Montgomery County team putting up 12 points per game. Dillon is a deadly three point shooter with incredible range from beyond the arc. Her height, quick release and ability to catch and shoot makes it hard for defenders to contest her shot. Dillon makes an impact on the defensive end as well especially in pressing situations she uses her long arms to deflect passes forcing turnovers.
In 21 games played this season for John Hardin put up 14.6 points a game along with 7 rebounds. Tidwell is a forward with guard abilities she handles the ball well enough to bring it up herself to set up the offense or create her own shot off the dribble. Her athleticism and physicality gives her an edge on the boards providing put-back opportunities that turn into second chance points. Tidwell has great instincts on defense as well she’s a big time shot blocker that takes protecting the rim personal.
