– 5’8 PG – UNION – 2026
She is the number 1 ranked player in the Class of 2026. All she did this season was dominate the competition and earn CO-MVP honors in the 4A GSHL. She will be teammates with the other player who I will mention later. Brooklyn is in my opinion the most skilled player in the state. There can be arguments made that she might not be the best, but I think she is the most skilled. I think she is the best shooter in the state. She can create her own shot anytime she wants. She often faced double or triple teams and was still able to be successful, averaging around 28 points a game. This includes a school record for threes in a game and points. Those records came in a game where she scored 50 points vs LaConner. The 4th place team in 2B. A team that beat several 4A teams. She was efficient with her three point shooting all season and is almost automatic when she gets a clean look. She is great at breaking down the defense as well with her outstanding ball handling skills. She is intense on the floor and keeps coming, no matter what the defense throws at her. She might be the youngest player on this team but that won’t matter much. She is an elite girls basketball player whose future is bright. She should have her choice of colleges by the time she is done.

, who is ranked 2nd by Prep Hoops. You can’t go wrong with either. She is an athletic and strong guard who can play either guard position and guard 1 through 3. She is a winner, her Nooksack team won the Class 1A state championship this season after finishing 2nd last year. She has elite level skills, with her ability to get to the bucket and ball handling. She is strong enough to be effective in the paint when she gets there with decent size. She isn’t quite as good a shooter as Brooklyn but not a bad one especially from the line where she is almost automatic. That’s important because she gets there a lot with her attacking style of play. The 2 time league MVP will be a great compliment to the rest of the backcourt and her toughness is something that will be on display throughout the summer.

Garfield | 2024
State
WA
The number 2 ranked player in the Class of 2024. She has something her teammates do not. That is three gold balls after winning her third straight state championship with Garfield this season. She is one of the higher ranked recruits in the state of Washington, maybe the highest. That is most likely due to her athletic ability and overall elite skill set from the guard position. She too can be effective at either guard spot. She has a beautiful mid-range game and uses her change of speed well to pick apart the defense. She led Garfield in scoring in each of her last two seasons and will have the chance to go for a sweep next year. A fourth title in four years.
Addison Harris

Camas | 2024

The other part of the GSHL Co MVP along with Haywood. She is the only one on the list so far who isn’t a guard. She plays the small forward spot for her high school team that finished 2nd at the state tournament. She is long and athletic, with the unique skills that allow her to show off her game in the paint. She can get to the bucket from outside with a few dribbles and displays moves that are impressive doing so. Her Camas team is loaded with talent and only one who graduates. They will be back next season with a vengeance tie win that 4A title. Harris is getting a lot of attention from college coaches and rightly so, with her length and skill -set. She is a an unstoppable force in the paint.
Kendra Hicks 6’1 2024 – Jesuit
Kendra is a 6’1 power forward from Jesuit high school in Oregon. She is bringing her inside toughness and to play with the rest of talented players from Washington. She has great size and strength that helps provide this team with inside play. She is a walking double double and helped Jesuit to 24-2 season so far and a place in the semi-final game.
She is a two time all GSHL 4A selection. Last year while playing for Camas and this season at Union. She is an athletic guard who can shoot it, with the ability to score on all levels. She is especially good in the open floor and can has great speed and athletism that sets her apart. She is a possibile rankings riser in the Class of 2024 rankings with her overall skill level and the ability to defend at a high level. Her versatility is a good fit for this team, as well as being teammates with Brooklyn Haywood during the high school season at Union. It never hurts to play AAU ball in the off-season with teammates, as they likely know each other’s game well. They are able to build on what they want to do during the high school season.
