Curtis wasn’t the tallest player on the court but once she positioned herself in the post, she was able to manuever around the taller players and finish consistently at the rim. Mia stayed aggressive on both ends of the floor and thrived under pressure.
Brooke Bettis Brooke Bettis 5'6" | PG Tulsa Union | 2025 State OK 2025 – Oklahoma Fusion: Bettis was able to showcase many of her abilities this past weekend at The Hive. She battled every minute she was on the court – there were multiple series where she was right in the mix with bigger and stronger players, making multiple attempts to regain possession of the ball. Brooke was active on offense – shooting well from beyond the arc, attacking the basket and distributing the ball accurately and effectively.
Esme Smith Esme Smith 5'10" | SF Tulsa Union | 2025 State OK 2025 – Id3ntity Elite: Smith did a great job both offensively and defensively against the Oklahoma Swarm this past Saturday at The Hive. She was constantly moving without the ball and positioned herself well for rebounds. She is aggressive when inside but can shoot the ball, also. Smith did a good job when defending the inside but was able to showcase her defense when guarding around the perimeter.
Sierra Martin 2024 – Swarm: Sierra is a tough basketball player. She was able to play multiple positions and was a threat from numerous spots on offense. Martin did well handling the ball and attacking the rim – she was able to finish consistently and through contact. Defensively, she moves well laterally and was a force when protecting the inside.
Kailynne Parker-White Kailynne Parker-White 5'8" | PG Sapulpa | 2026 State OK 2026 – Team Griffin: Parker kept a good pace throughout the game and was very impressive on both ends of the floor. She handles the ball extremely well and did a great job of keeping her teammates involved. Kailynne is an athletic guard and scored from numerous spots, efficiently. Defensively, she is quick and forced a number of turnovers. Parker is definitely a player to keep an eye on as the summer season progresses.
