I can understand why. She has a smooth midrange jumper and has the energy and stamina to be effective and efficient from start to finish. Game 1 she finished 9pts (3-9( and 10rebs. Game 2 she finishes with 12pts (6-10) and 4asts. Both games she played almost every minute but 1.. thats an athlete. The scoring, the passing, the ability to play at a pace that never gets disrupted. Nikki has all the talent you want in a guard that plays for your program. She is lethal but soft spoken, smaller but seems to play with mental toughness that doesnt allow to quit on herself. Those two games weren't her best, but you u003c/iu003eu003ciu003ecan't ignore the flashes she showed on how high her potential is. A big AAU season is coming up for Nikki, and i'm excited to see what she does on the circuit. u003c/iu003eu003c/pu003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["203249"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"u003cp style=u0022text-align: centeru0022u003eu003cemu003eDenali has an intimidating stature, but plays the game so well and smooth. Nice touch from the mid range, the strength and motor to finish with contact, and the team first mentality to run after every loose ball (almost crashed into us). A versatile three level threat that is no where near her potential. At state, both games showed a completely different DCE, the first game wasn't her best, but she kept at it (confident). Game 2 .. the kid finished with 16pts, 19rebs (almost an even split on both sides), 5stls, 4asts, u0026amp; 3 blocks. She is as well rounded as it gets. Her talents will be put on display next year at Western Michigan, and I will definitely be keeping a look on her career. I said beforehand that her commitment to Depaul before the playoffs would calm her u0022nervesu0022 a little bit, and in both games it was noticed. The points, the shooting touch and the aggression were obviously there...however seeing her utilize her footwork in triple threat situations, and then putting the ball on the floor to attack the rim was what sealed it. She showed that she truly can score at all three levels on the court. Though she wasn't the top scorer on the floor for both games, her leadership, her style, and just everything the kid brings to the game is written all over this program. She secured a ring on way her out, hell of a career. u003c/iu003eu003c/pu003e","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["148164"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"u003cp style=u0022text-align: centeru0022u003eu003ciu003eStill one of the top guards in the state. Kerstein first career trip down to the IHSA Finals wasn't what she wanted, but she definitely reminded people on why she is such a complete basketball player. 12ppg and 5asts were her tournament averages and how she gets those points are efficient and smooth, at all three levels. She can switch in and out of  primary guard and off ball guard without missing a beat. A hell of a career for Lexi, and the talent she's bringing to Vermont next year should be utilized u003c/iu003eu003ciu003eimmediately.u003c/iu003eu003c/pu003e","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6403c67b8b0df"} /-->
