Adarra Vanderford 6'0" | SF | 2028

The thing about this group is that I have seen many of these young ladies multiple times over the years and one more time, the main thing I look for in players is PROGRESSION and I say that over and over. This group is a mix of 2027 and 2028 players and why is that important, well it is for a number of reasons including they went against older TALENTED players, and that ties into one of my all-time great sayings "it's not what you do, its who you do it against

Bailey Burns [2027]

Burns was always able to shoot the long ball yet I told her a long time ago that she needed to mix it up and she continues to add more. I enjoyed her creating her shot, getting to her spot and dropping the midrange and her spot was wherever she wanted. She's also using her body in the paint to score, as well as taking the defender off the dribble

Rachel Roberts [2027]

Roberts has also added to her game, last time around, she took a hard lick and had to stop yet there was no stopping her this time as she brought heat off the top. Mid to long range, catch and shoot, yes, but her rebounding and handling the ball in the open court was nice as she handled the ball well while being pressured. Good court vision is always a plus as she keeps adding

Lyla Delafosse [2027]

Delafosse is showing signs of becoming electrifying and watching her variety of moves as well as zig-zagging by defenders in the open court already tells me a lot yet she's a long and athletic and can get her shot off whenever she wants. She elevates on her jumper she's explosive off the dribble and she uses nice body control on her finishes after contact included

Fayrout Tahir [2027]

Tahir has shown she could score a variety of ways at the numerous events I've had a chance to catch her yet she gave me a different look as she understood how to get hers in the flow. She made good decisions, on both ends yet her passing under pressure as well as scoring and finishing after the lick was nice, but so was her defense

[player_tooltip player_id='977502' first='Adarra' last='Vanderford'] [2028]

Vanderford showed me that "hands and footwork" around the basket and I love #THROWBACK stuff, yet she also did a good job rebounding on both ends, and equally as important was her running the floor, on both ends. She also played solid interior defense

Brooklyn Wong [2028]

Wong's upside sold me a couple of years ago and her "poise under pressure" playing against the older players JUST DID IT for me. Her jumper has been impressive at the events I've caught her but her decision-making against the "big girls" was nice, She created her shot and attacked the basket from a variety of angles

Jordan Erickson [2028]

Erickson did quite a few things that just grabbed me, especially when you factor in her class, one more time, "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against" so her seeing the floor and threading the needle was nice, so was her jumper, mid to long-range and when you factor in she already has the "catch and shoot" down ...
