Have you filled out your brackets for March Madness yet? Are you struggling with who to root for or who to take all the way? Here is a breakdown of the Florida players playing in March Madness.
No team has more Florida players then the University of Georgia with seven players on the roster from the sunshine state. University of Miami, Florida State, and University of South Florida have a trio of players that suited it up in high school ball in Florida.
In regards to high school representation Lake Highland Prep, DME Academy, and Montverde Academy all have 3 athletes representing them in the NCAA Tournament while Winter Haven, Miami Country Day, Blanche Ely and Dillard HS all have 2.
So don’t waste any more time, fill out your brackets and let’s hope to see some Florida players with some big performances over the next 4 weeks and maybe one or two of them will be standing under some confetti and hoisting the trophy come championship Monday in April!
