With the conclusion of the 4A Finals, both Holy Family and D'Evelyn had standout performers when it mattered most. These are names who hit shots when they mattered most and facilitated the success of their teammates. Holy Family ultimtaly took home the title, solidifying both Boys and Girls sides of the program as 4A victors in the 2023 playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='495853' first='Essynce' last='Contreraz'] - Holy Family

Contreraz was especially difficult to contain while attacking from the perimeter. The 5'6 lead guard effectively changed speeds within the halfcourt, baiting opposing forwards into fouls. Through the junior's finals appearance, she put up 10 points, 8 assits, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Her presence puts Holy Family's halfcourt offense in good hands, rarely forcing decisions and methodically searching for the most efficient scoring looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='493000' first='Fiona' last='Snashall'] - Holy Family

Through her finals appearance, Snashall provided a wide variety of winning plays to Holy Family's 4A victory. The guard was advantageous through this round of games, with well timed passes and pivotal defensive rebounds. At roughly 6'1, Snashall brought the valuable dynamic of a mobile rebounder whose reach was greater than anybody with D'Evelyn. The guard even showcased a couple attempts at mid-range pullups, proving unguardable from that distance. She was adept hunting down drivers to contest or outright block shots into the sideline. Snashall's finals appearance was valuable, contributing 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. The 6'1 guard will be taking her talents to Regis University next year, tough to argue for a better outcome to her high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id='495852' first='Enyiah' last='Contreraz'] - Holy Family - 2026

Contreraz was especially valuable knocking down perimeter jump shots, hitting 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. The freshman guard has been prepared through her first playoff series, putting up 7.3 points per game and 9 points in the Finals. There is no doubt [player_tooltip player_id='495852' first='Enyiah' last='Contreraz'] will be prepared to step into a larger role with Holy Family in the 2024-25 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='216719' first='Macy' last='Scheer'] - D'Evelyn - 2024

Scheer had a variety of high level passing reads throughout D'Evelyn's finals appearance. The 6' 2024 guard utilized her height in the post to find cutters around the rim, taking advantages of those along the backdoor. Down the stretch, Scheer provided value from clutch shotmaking, notably through her three pointer with a minute left and her pair of free throws to bring the game to a three point differential.

[player_tooltip player_id='216703' first='Peyton' last='Marvel'] - D'Evelyn - 2024

Marvel provided constant energy and hustle around the rim, bringing a diversified stat line. Through her Finals appearance, the guard put up 11 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. She provided value around the glass, protecting the paint for a large dose of rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='394811' first='Rebecca' last='Taylor'] - D'Evelyn - 2023

Taylor worked hard to get her points in the paint, drawing fouls against taller defenders. She was especially sturdy going at opponents, possessing excellent balance alongside awareness of the most efficient shot attempts. Through her finals appearance, Taylor has posted 8 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
