State Tourney Session 4: Angie’s Thoughts!

Here's a look at some of my thoughts to finish out the Division 1 state semi-finals!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Princeton guards lighting it up!</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When your teammate has the hot hand, keep feeding it- and Princeton did just that! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='319294' first='Mari' last='Gerton']</strong> put on a show, with her under control moves to the basket! She had a strong finish, with 25 points, 3 assists, 3 steals, and shooting an impressive 9-11 from the charity stripe. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='157707' first='Sole' last='Williams'] </strong>showed why she's Ohio's Gatorade Player of the Year- with her crisp passing, defense, and shooting, finishing with 19 points, 6 assists, and 6 boards! Meng's length and her quick instincts no doubt proved that she can stop some of the best guards from scoring! She had an impressive 10 blocks, along 12 points, and 9 boards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='280109' first='Olivia' last='DiFranco']</strong>- WOW. She's special. Incredible competitor, who flat out wants the ball, and will make plays, all game! She finished with 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Her IQ is on a whole different level, and is a complete package player! She finished with 23 points, 12 rebounds, shooting 11-16 from the field! And <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='313105' first='Olivia' last='Cooper']</strong>- such a versatile player, who not only takes care of business from inside, but knows how to find her teammates and set them up for high percentage shots. She finished with 8 points, and 8 assists. She finished with 23 points, shooting 6-9 from 3 point land! <strong>Mia Kalich </strong>was tough to stop, shooting an impressive 7-8 from the field, and finishing with a double double ( 16 points, 12 rebounds).
