Hannah Keefer had an excellent game against Tuscarora. She played big inside and used her back-to-the-basket game effectively. Tuscarora’s zone gives a lot of team problems, but Hannah did relatively well against it. She finished with 13 points.
Another Pulaski County Cougar that was impressive yesterday was Keslyn Secrist Keslyn Secrist 5’10” | SG Pulaski HS | 2023 State VA . She was steady all game and was huge offensively. Even though Tuscarora lost, I was impressed with Alysa Carrigan Alysa Carrigan 5’11” | SF Tuscarora | 2024 State VA . Tuscarora’s defense always seems to give teams trouble because of Carrigan. She used her phenomenal defensive instincts and great hands to force turnovers all day. She did a great job pushing the ball and finding open players off of rebounds. She was a bright spot in a losing effort.
