didn’t necessarily dominate this game, but she was super steady from start to finish. She was battling a little bit of foul trouble even though she played virtually the whole game. Mia did good work in the post and knocked down a mid-range. She was great on the glass, racking up another double-double. She had a game-sealing bucket and finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds last Year on a state runner-up Manchester team. Manchester is returning so many high-level players; they’re my pick to win states this Year. Mia is physical and competes on both ends. Mia isn’t versatile as a scorer in terms of where on the court she will score because she does almost all her work in the paint. But she is versatile in how she gets it done in the paint. She’s so strong she can play bully ball or face up and get by defenders. She has a lot of moves with her back to the basket and is a very efficient scorer. If Manchester wins a state title and Mia puts in a 20 and 10 season, she will be in the Gatorade Player of the Year conversation.

Ranked number two in the state of Virginia in the 2024 class, a high level player that plays a very physical brand of basketball. With her 6’2 frame she can finish well through contact. She brings that physical nature on the defensive end as well will go get rebounds and is a good shot blocker! Uses her bogy well to get to the nice variety of moves on the offensive end . Athletic enough to attack the basket from the high post and can finish at the rim.

Mia continued her dominance on the court, playing like a grown woman. She was just too strong and athletic for opponents to handle. She has added a midrange jumper to her game to go along with the power she plays with around the basket. Unfazed by contact from multiple defenders, she was a ferocious rebounder and ran rim to rim.
