Third place Mead started two freshman. Stanwood had a freshman with perhaps the best tournament on their way to a 4th place finish. Lakeside didn’t place, but had an impact player who will be back next season.
The freshman was great for Stanwood. She can really shoot it from three, finishing 11-21 in Stanwood’s four games in Tacoma. That included 21 points in the round of 12, followed by 16, 13, and 15 points in the win for 4th place. She has great shot mechanics and is always ready for the catch and shoot threes. She has good size for a guard and is a well rounded player who is one to watch the next three years.

Here is another freshman who played big on a team that placed third in the tournament. She shot the ball well from three (4-10) in their three games in the Dome. She is a shooter with some great genetics. She is the daughter of former Gonzaga star Adam Morrison. It is no surprise that she will be a great three point shooting guard/small forward in the next three years for Mead. She also has the size and length.
Sarah was an important piece of Garfield’s state title run. She started and played big minutes all season long. Her value comes in her versatility. She is long and athletic with the ability to score inside and out. She can defend the paint with the length but is quick enough to guard multiple positions. She Averaged 9 points and 8 rebounds in the Dome. The sky is the limit with her potential and size. Her ceiling is about as high as you will find.

The only non freshman listed here. Her performance was notable as a junior who returns next year. Mia was all over the place in the three games that Lakeside played in Tacoma. She made 8 threes and got buckets from all levels. In the one point loss to Stanwood she put up 26 points. She had 6 rebounds and 6 steals to go with it.
