Tonight, I'd like to continue highlighting a few kids to watch at the Legacy Region Kick Off in Milwaukee this weekend. I want to take some time and highlight some kids in the 15U division who will be at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='509695' first='Emily' last='Urban']

A significant portion of Urban's game comes from her ability to attack from the perimeter. She's quick, and any defender who's had a scouting report on her has to respect that she can blow by them. However, she can shoot the ball at a solid level well, so defenders have to balance how they close out on her. One part of her game that doesn't get as much shine is well she uses ball screens. Urban does a great job at beating her defender off the screen, beating the switch, or shooting when the defender goes under the screen.

[player_tooltip player_id='624970' first='Madyn' last='Wankowski']

I'd guess that Wankowski would play a role on varsity next season at Kettle Moraine, and I'm eager to see what she can become as a player. She's a 5-11 wing/forward that can handle the ball a little on the perimeter, make good passes, knock down shots, and read the flow of a game. She's as under the radar as they come and skilled.

Nyajuacni Riak

Riak is a kid I saw this fall for the first time, and she's probably one of the most talented 27s in the state. She's a tall wing that can handle the ball, initiate the offense, and score from anywhere on the floor. Riak has room to grow, but if you were to make the trip to Wisconsin Lutheran, you might see something special.

Emily Sewell

There is a group of kids I respect a ton, and that's undersized guards who find a way to get into a varsity rotation in their first high school season. Sewell is one of those kids because of how scrappy she plays. She believes she belongs on the floor and won't shy away from any competition.

[player_tooltip player_id='514898' first='Quinn' last='Arundel']

Arundel will shoot from 30 feet routinely. The EBA Ice guard is quick and does a solid job creating off the dribble. There aren't many kids who can make shots at the level she does, and it only took me watching her once this past weekend to realize she's legit.

[player_tooltip player_id='533063' first='Alexis' last='Charbonneau']

The McFarland product is one of the more steady kids you'll see at Wisconsin Lutheran. She's a long 5-9 athlete, covers plenty of ground defensively, and makes shots consistently on the other end. For Charbonneau to be as consistent as she is at her age is probably her best trait, and she's only improving from here on out.

Shaemarie Ashley

Ashley got to Beaver Dam as soon as her older sister graduated, and she brought a needed ball-handling presence for the Golden Beavers. I thought she did an excellent job playing with some of the best talent in the state and defending some of the best talent in the state when she had to in the Badger Conference and non-con games. She also has some of the best Basketball IQ in her class.

[player_tooltip player_id='533059' first='Kelly' last='Boinski']

I didn't talk about Boinski much during the season, but the one thing to know about her is that when she gets into a rhythm, there isn't much a defense can do about it. I've seen her make over half-a-dozen 3-pointers in one half, and she makes it seem like she's don3 it a hundred times before. She moves well off the ball. Boinski can easily swing a game in a few possessions.
