At Long Branch, her girls know what to expect: a tough, regimented coach who demands nothing but excellence and 100% put forth every day… but at the same time, someone who will jump through rings of fire for her players. She is what I call “the people’s coach,” because players love her, other coaches admire her and parents & fans adore her. As director of the Jersey Gemz, this “winner’s mentality” carries over to the Spring when AAU heats up and trickles down to the staff and players alike. Playing in the Nike EYBL, this disciplined squad, coached by the marvelous duo of Patty Coyle and Dee Harris, is equipped with phenomenal talent and ready to seize the opportunity playing against some of the toughest teams around.

Ashley Redd – Blair (2025)
Coming off a State title, Ashley has only known success in her sophomore season with the Bucs. At 5’10”, she’s long and lean, which aids in her ability to reach in for steals and elevate over defenders for easy buckets. She has a solid mid-range game in addition to steady range from 3 and uses her crafty handles to work defenders on her way to the hoop, or dribble her way out of trouble when the defense tightens up. Her skill-set coupled with her high basketball IQ will serve as invaluable assets for this team.
Haley Poser Haley Poser 5'8" | SG Ranney School | 2025 State NJ – Ranney (2025)
Haley is a player who’s been on my radar for quite some time now. We all know about her sniper-like abilities from deep, but the fact that she is in her sophomore year and taking command of the notoriously-elite Shore conference is truly something special. She sees top-ranked opponents day in and day out and continues to produce staggering numbers. With 444 points scored this season, her offense was clicking on all cylinders from everywhere; 15-footers, 3-pointers, in the paint, etc. Her step-through is a thing of beauty, as is her dribble set-up and step-back. She can turn the burners on at any time in the open court with her extreme quickness. Expect an onslaught of buckets all season long!
Camille Wiley Camille Wiley 5'9" | CG Montlcair Immaculate | 2025 State NJ – Montclair Immaculate (2025)
Coach Kreie has mentored and molded Camille into a fierce competitor and spectacular hooper. Her stats increased across the board from her freshman to sophomore season: tripled her scoring, more than double her rebounds, tripled her assists and tripled her steals. She saw more playing time and capitalized, which is a testament to the hard work she puts in all year long. She takes high percentage shots, crashes the board with the bigs, uses the pick and roll effectively and plays high-intensity, high pressure defense. What more could you possibly ask for?!
Leah Crosby Leah Crosby 6'1" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2025 State NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas (2025)
Leah is relentless under the basket! Using every bit of her 6’2″ frame, she is aggressive, fearless and determined when going to the hoop. Whether it’s playing a traditional back-to-the-basket style of ball, scoring on put-backs or driving in with authority, Leah is going to get it done! She is equipped with an arsenal that also includes 3-point shooting, setting effective screens and cutting hard to the basket. Additionally, her fierce rebounding and barrier-like rim protection takes her game to another level!
Sidney Quinn Sidney Quinn 6'2" | PF Gill St. Bernard | 2025 State NJ – Gil St. Bernard’s (2025)
At 6’2″, you know what to expect from Sidney; she’s going to get easy buckets in the paint and rebound like nobody’s business. What you may not expect is her rocket-like, pinpoint precision passing! She uses her height, long reach and excellent court vision to dish some impressive dimes off to her teammates, and does so efficiently, keeping a low turnover percentage. She may just be this team’s super dangerous x-factor.
Gandy Malou-Mamel Gandy Malou-Mamel 6'6" | C Gill St. Bernard's | 2025 State NJ – Gil St. Bernard’s (2025)
As if having one 6’0″+ player from GSB wasn’t enough, add this 6’5″ superstar into the mix and what you get is a highly-skilled and intimidating front-court! The shooters on this team can let it fly freely because Gandy acts as a security blanket down low, snatching the O-boards, creating second chances and demoralizing the defense in the process. Not only does she clean up the boards nicely, she can also pummel the paint in scoring and get in double-figures quickly. Showing off her two-way game, she uses her impressive wingspan to send shots back and impose herself as a dominant defensive force.
Nila Giraud Nila Giraud 6'0" | PF Montclair Immaculate | 2025 State NJ – Montclair Immaculate (2025)
Nila is a force down low in the paint who takes command and takes control. She easily locks down the post with her ever-present hands and quick feet, making it a nightmare for defenders to get by or shoot over her. With Nila on your team, you want to “feed the beast down low” every chance you get because she has excellent footwork, soft hands and is efficient at finishing through contact. She’s a go-getter, plain and simple, with the mind-set that no task is too difficult or onerous to overcome. She is poised for a sensational and successful season with the Gemz.
Caroline Polloway Caroline Polloway 6'2" | C Red Bank Regional | 2025 State NJ – Red Bank Regional (2025)
Lefties are always tricky to contain. Now add 6 feet and 2 inches worth of height to that and what you have is nightmare fuel for opponents! Caroline is long, has active hands and sprints down the court like a gazelle. She’s confident on both ends, plays well under pressure and most importantly, embraces whatever challenge is thrown her way. She achieves quiet double-doubles but her impact on the game is mighty loud, as she demands the ball and relentlessly pounds the paint. She crashes the glass and uses her magnet-like hands to corral the boards on both ends. Caroline is a force on the court with a superabundance of talent, primed for the spotlight this Spring!
