Lucy Fierro Lucy Fierro 5'4" | PG Westview | 2026 NE (#2, Omaha Supreme)- She is the true definition of heart over height. Listed at 5’5″ on a good day, she doesn’t have much weight to her she has a lot of game! Outside of her speed to beat other teams’ presses and traps, she has an excellent handle that allows her to get wherever she wants to on the court. When she gets to her spots on the floor she’s tough to stop because she has an outstanding runner she uses or she can dump it off to her teammates.
Sanai Cotton Welchen (#2 Nebraksa Hoops Elite )- Sanai is as tough as they come when you are looking for a good guard to watch or recruit. If you watch her team play you can expect to see her stand out on both ends of the floor. Defensively she will look to put on a 1 man-show full-court press. Her full-court pressure usually leads to good things, one possession she scored, picked the ball up full, and got a steal that lead to another layup. Offensively you have to know where she is at all times. Cotton has the ability to walk across the court and drain the 3.
Lexi Cooley (#5, Kansas Elite )- When you think of pest defenders you have to think of Lexi Cooley. Lexi has a lot of passion for the game of basketball and you can tell by the way she plays. An underrated attribute is an ability to force your opponent to pick the ball up; Cooley does this every other possession it seems like. On the offensive end, she was the primary ball handler and put her teammates in positions to be successful.
Myley Longcor (#15, 25/8 Mentality)- Myley for 25/8 mentality seems to make all the right reads for her team. Often times we look at teams’ fast breaks and forget how they started. Longcor seems to have initiated a lot of the fast breaks with her defensive intangibles and pitching the ball ahead. On the offensive end, you have to love the fundamentals, well Myley has that. She showed a good ball fake followed by a drive to the rim and finish.
Emily Lovette Emily Lovette SG Millard West | 2027 NE (#24, Nebraska Attack )- When you talk about swagger and how much basketball has changed it starts with Emily on Nebraska Attack . When the play breaks down she is the one you want with the ball in her hands because of her ability to make plays off the bounce for herself. You have to love her pace and flow of the game. One possession, in particular, she isos the defense, gives a good in-and-out drive into a left-hand finish converting the and one.
